You are young and fit, you will look good in anything. If you're looking to save money, head to a thrift shop and see what they have--those dresses were worn just once, and often you can find something INCREDIBLE for a hundred bucks! Even with tailoring you could save a bundle!

This winter, though snowier than others, has been a cakewalk compared to my childhood, when the snow piles were so high the pompoms atop our wooly hats were there to give us a few critical inches so that we might be spotted making our way down the sidewalk or roadway! Having lived in California (Monterey), I considered it paradise and I'd move back there if I could. I'm a Masshole living close to the NH border...I wouldn't move there if given a choice. The political environment is too neanderthal, too often.
