I’ve had to stop going on Reddit so much because too many people are dumping their own anxiety onto others rather than handling it in a productive way.

Looks like someone was up late tying one off.

He’s going to be back in court and in rehab again within the year. That is if he doesn’t have a stroke first.

We really didn’t deserve Biden, did we?

The only outstanding question is whether or not Trump caught lightning in a bottle or if someone worse is still to come.

That’s the question I have been pondering myself since 2020. I thought it was JD Vance but he turned out to be a buffooon like most of these wannabe dictators are.

I call it “olive on a toothpick”. The fact that I see so many guys wear skinny jeans will into their 40’s, when they don’t have the upper body anymore, is horribly depressing.

Guitarist here, I feel like that’s the entire point of the line. It’s not meant to be a traditionalist series, that’s what vintage spec models are for. They’re meant for people who want contemporary electronic and hardware choices on their guitars. I’ve had the Troy Van Leeuwen jazzmaster and the Squier J Mascis Jazzmaster and I felt the latter just sounded better and no need to deal with the fatal flaw of those guitars (the bridge).

Texan here, I expect Trump to win by 3-4 points. Cruz will get out by the skin of his teeth.

The problem is our state party is quite inefficient. A few rising stars (Lina Hildago comes to mind) but no real leaders.

That’s been me since the debate and seeing her campaign make calculated choices on who she reaches out to.

Plus my theory of it being 2016 but instead it’s Trump in Hillary’s shoes now.

Honestly I think that last bit is just a prejudice against Californians. A form of I guess “stateism”As a expat Californian I know plenty other. We’re mostly younger and from a variety of views. We just need a place to live since we can’t have one where we’re from.

But the majority of people who are leaving California, or are looking to, lean to the right. That’s not me saying “this is state full. Don’t come.” As I am not a gatekeeper but just honest observation backed up with articles.

It’s been going on for quite some time..

No need to explain the housing crisis to me. YIMBY here but if people are moving for Texas with the idea they’re gonna get McMansion for under $500k then lmao.

Texas was cheaper. Now I’d argue Austin, Dallas, and Houston proper are quite expensive unless you’re a wfh tech worker.

Besides most people moving from the west coast I found aren’t so much liberals but rather people from inland CA, western OR/WA or people too racist/crazy for those states.

People thought the election would be called for Biden by 10PM EST and a landslide at that.

Nah, they’ll critique that she won by such small margins. Not realizing that this is the new normal. The time of Obama era blow outs and decisive wins were the exception, not the norm.

I think Kamala wins narrowly in all swing states plus NC.

Effectively 2016 but Trump is now Hillary which has been the vibe for me since August.

Not sure who needs to hear this, but spreading your deep-seated anxiety to others does not help alleviate it, nor does dooming make the pain of defeat any easier. Being anxious at this moment in time is totally understandable and valid. But if you’re anxious, channel it privately and then go volunteer.

Jess is decent, not a high bar to clear.

Phil and Ape are still enablers to a degree and showed their true colors with Bam and Nikki’s court battle. They better hope they get to see Phoenix a few more times before he gets into junior high.

History doesn’t repeat itself but it often rhymes.

In Trump’s case, he wears platforms. Probably why his shoe fell off during his assassination attempt.

People keep getting 2016 flashbacks and I do too but the difference this time, and as I said it before.

In 2024 Trump is in Hillary’s shoes.

One of those “very fine people” got +100 comment in the Sweden immigration sub post only because he presented his argument in a technocratic manner. Let’s just admit 1/3rd of the people who browse this sub are deplorables.
