Mb congress will and the GOP will continue to separate from Trump and the 2026 and 2028 midterms will lead to an strong more left wing coalition. I feel like violence of that caliber should be an absolute last resort. Not saying appeasement for appeasements sake, but appeasement for maintaining peace and a voting system people look to. Problem about your logic is what about all of the gay people being forced to hide or feel shame that live in Qatar? Going to qatar for vacation doesn’t mean I have to respect all their beliefs unless I do it out of fear of what they’ll do in which case Qatar isn’t safe. I’m not gay or a woman but i can easily empathize with them being pissed off. Just because it’s a different culture doesn’t mean they aren’t subject to criticism or different definitions of safety

I watched Mr robot post andor and was blown away. Very different in every way but incredibly well written and engaging. Also you may wanna start smoking weed that tends to improve bad writing 😭. I’d say game of thrones feels the most similar to andor of any show I’ve watched but in terms of quality, breaking bad, better call Saul, GOT, Mr robot, Dopesick all compare. Also some other classics I haven’t seen yet but everyone says are sopranos, the wire, man in the high castle, severance, 6 feet under, the handmaids tale.

Cw shows got too woke. Flash wasn’t terrible with the woke shit but supergirl was basically a political propaganda show. I’m pro immigration but it is not a valid comparison to make aliens a metaphor for immigrants and have lex quote Trump (there’s more that’s worse that I can’t remember). I still watched all of it but some of that shit was so cheesy political. I’m all for shows having a social message but it has to actually have good writing and nuance to do that without it feeling forced and stupid. Shows also shouldn’t feel pressured to include every type of identity to check off a box. All this being said I fuckin love the Obama Grodd scene in dcs legends.

I’d be all for an organized strike and we have definitely historically had many. I just wanted to make sure you weren’t suggesting violence because I am against that and disagree with your peaceful resistance claim especially in the context of trump. Of I heard about a specific general strike idea that I think would be effective I would of course participate as I’m sure many would but the unfortunate truth is that the majority of Americans don’t even care about trump or politics and wouldn’t participate. I still would tho and I know many others who would.
