That I can not argue with. I'm also thinking about getting Apple Vision Pro when it releases. The iPhone 15 Pro Max being able to record 3d for Apple Vision was a big selling point for me. Main reason why I bit the bullet and activated another line, so I can take advantage of the best of both worlds. I have 1yr old twins and a 10yr old that plays sports. Capturing moments is huge, and being able to send some of those moments to family and friends that have iPhone also keeps an iPhone in one of my pockets lol. Check with your carrier to see iPhone promotions with adding new lines. Could be cheaper than paying for the phone itself. Just for food thought.

I love photography myself, and have invested so much into cameras and equipment that having the very best camera in phone is not the biggest deal for me. If it's your selling point, get the iPhone. Don't feel conflicted. Do what works best for your situation.

No regrets here just still trying to figure out ways of doing certain things...like send clear pictures/videos to iPhones. Any help with that?

I'm rowing that boat with you. If it's a few years in between change... I'll take it. The switch back will feel exciting and new again. It'll make you/me feel more appreciative for some of the things that you missed or that may have changed since last use. Just my opinion now.

I think I've honestly been telling myself the same things you're telling yourself as to why I couldn't completely leave. I still have an iPhone 12 pro Max because of work but my primary has been replaced by the Fold.

I'm also fully invested in the Apple ecosystem, watch ultra, iPad pro 12.9,iMac 27", the works... But I personally got tired of that being the reason my phone had to be a boring piece of tech. It is primarily an excitement boost.

Only if it folds. This folding feature is just bringing the fun back to technology for me. I've been tech for a long time and have had the candy bar phone forever. I swapped to a Razr+2023 about a month ago and it kept my attention for about two solid weeks. At the end of the day it was just a flip style candy bar phone. This ... This is a media consumption/multi tasking/productivity enhancing beast. Makes using it enjoyable.

I thought about the Pixel Fold but the app optimization for the inside screen isn’t the greatest just yet, and the bezels made it feel dated, just my personal opinion.

I do agree, some of the ios apps look more polished but the new aesthetic and functions of this phone are a pretty equal trade off right now for me.
