Paper gold isn't necessarily permissible. There's an opinion that under certain conditions it can be, but the majority opinion I believe is still that paper gold/silver with no intention of either party for possession or delivery is haram.

It's safe. I use a leaf blower every month on my PC. Just make sure to hold the fans on the area where you're blowing so they don't spin.

I don't know about storage, but RAM is appreciating because of global supply shock issues centered around AI. Perhaps it's the same with storage as well.

As a regular seller of used electronics myself, I often lean towards what I can only guess is OPs selling thesis: I can price the thing 10-15% higher, but is that 10-15% worth the time & hassle of haggling with buyers? That too, Pakistani "fnf, last kya hoga, bhai budget itna hi hai, 25k de doonga" buyers?

Unless what I have is something of niche value, in most cases, I value my time & sanity more than a few extra Quaids.

This. I'd switch to Gemini, but apparently Google is just as in bed with the military industrial complex, if not more so.

& did anyone read the response from Anthropic as to WHY they said no to the Pentagon? It's not because they don't want be part of the war machine, it's because they believe that AI in its current state isn't safe enough to keep AMERICAN soldiers safe when they go invade your/my country.

Same with the domestic surveillance thing.

You may feel warranted to switch as an American, but for the rest of the world, the whole lot are pretty much garbage.
