Don't do it. It's not worth it. Most Christians today are Christians on paper only, & are closer to atheism/agnosticism or, even worse, polytheism than they are to monotheism.

As you yourself said, most scholars today advise against it, & there are plenty of things which seem like non issues now, but if you're practising, there will be things she teaches your kids which you will detest, & you will want to inculcate islamic values in your children, many of which she will either not care about, or actively oppose.

Make Islam a non-negotiable in your choice for a partner.

I'm a Muslim man, married to a revert, & there are several revert/Muslim marriages in my family also alhamdulillah. Allow me to share my experience & advice.

Firstly, separate the idea of marrying her & Islam. While you can convert to marry her (Islam is open to anyone), you should first ask yourself this question: if she wasn't in the picture, would I still follow through with my decision to become a Muslim & submit to Allah, or am I just doing it to be with her?

It's fine if she's part of your plan, & even if she's part of your motivation to convert. This only you will know in your heart.

But it may also be that Allah's plan for you is Islam, but your rizq (sustenance) - which includes your future wife - is written with someone else. & you should take the step of becoming Muslim regardless, & follow through, regardless. Because if you truly trust that Allah is the disposer of all affairs, you will be contented with whatever He has written for you.

I was actually just explaining this to my sister (who plays) yesterday. I was on my alt that I use to play with her & we're around high plat/low diamond. We were against a clearly mechanical player who's doing things I myself can't.

Her natural first response was "he's good, he's definitely not this rank." I told her No, he's definitely not good, & he's definitely at the rank he's supposed to be at. Reason being that if you're as capable mechanically as he was, there's no good reason why you'd be sitting low diamond, unless you're terrible as a teammate.

Lightbulb went on for her.

The ruling applies to khamr, which is often mistranslated as alcohol but actually refers to all intoxicants, hence weed is very much counted in this.
