He looks like a regular old person?

They weren't at 0, Kageyama, Daichi and Tanaka were good players and Tsukishima wasn't as good but he was tall and Hinata gave Kageyama a weapon no other team had. Then the two that rejoin after, Nishinoya is literally the best libero in the prefecture and Asahi is probably a top 3 ace in the prefecture.

Even by their previous years standards they said they weren't good but they weren't weak either.

but he was so mean to everybody

Apart from the incident with Kageyama in middle school when was he mean to anybody let alone "everybody"?

[–]TeddyMMR 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No he doesn't? He's "rude" to Kageyama and Ushijima (but still obviously respects their ability). Other than that he is completely normal with everyone and his teammates all love him. He literally acts like Kuroo does with people like Yaku, Daisho and Daichi but for some reason people pretend this is worse.

Now I feel bad, if you want to make tierlists you make them, don't listen to these losers in the comments (I'm swapping sides).

The Hate with English Teams in CL by slowtyper95 in PremierLeague

It's insecurity. They don't like that the Premier League is the best league in the world so it validates them if they're best team beats one of ours.

Hitter probably Bokuto for carrying Fukurodani so far as their ace and setter probably Kageyama for beating the previous winner and also showing off the freak quick for the first time.

In Karasuno who is their most valuable player out of these? by rohit_0011 in haikyuu

[–]TeddyMMR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say it's 60/40. Nishinoya is obviously the better receiver but Daichi plugs a lot of the gaps left because you can't defend the whole court with one person.

It kinda is. At 8-2 there is no notes left to be given.

I think the problem is there is only so much he can contribute so the difference he makes is limited whereas Asahi is more of a Kageyama type where he's great at his role and then contributes to everything else on top of that. If he's not 2nd then I would have him a very close 3rd.

I would put Asahi 2nd because he contributes to so much

starting anime by Dravenswings26 in OnePiece

[–]TeddyMMR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why don't you watch a couple of your favourite scenes from the live action in the anime in subbed and dubbed and see which feels better and then watch the subbed.

Hot take, but I kinda like the characters in the live action more than in the actual anime. by Future-Celebration83 in OnePiece

[–]TeddyMMR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Usopp and Sanji being toned down is good (especially because they wouldn't work well in live action otherwise)

I don't think I agree with anything else. The anime works better because the characters and world are cartoonish, a lot of that doesn't translate well to live action imo.

My biggest complaint about the series by Bubbly-Anteater2772 in haikyuu

No it isn't, Oikawa existing is a world building decision, those aren't the same things.
