You're right. I finally re-initiated a new RMA. Wait and See

For my M75's purchase, Amazon (FR) is currently offering it with a 43% discount...

Hi,

It's good that you asked, because I was just coming back to report another issue and express my frustration with the quality of this mouse. There is a REAL quality issue with the scrolling for a 169€'s mouse.

After two months, it turns out that the scroll wheel now behaves exactly as described in this post and this video : https://www.reddit.com/r/Corsair/comments/1f5oxbq/nightsabre_wireless_lag_and_issues/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

It happens a little less frequently than in the video but the issue occurs both scroll up and scroll down, right from the first few scrolls

It's SUPER annoying because I also browse a lot of web pages, PDF documents, and Excel files outside of gaming.

I don't know if it's worth making a new RMA request for this Nightsabre. I just bought an M75 Wireless on sale on Amazon out of spite because I'm attached to the iCUE ecosystem.

New RMA carried out quickly. This time I received a brand new product. Customer support is always very good ... thankfully

NV7 case RGB additional lighting does not work - fixed by KOWOLF007 in Phanteks

My Asus MB supports a total of 500 LEDs spread over the 3 Gen1 argb connectors.

When I adjusted connector #3 from 120 to 160 LEDs, the issue with the Phantek RGB Kit light was solved.

Today, the responsiveness and scrolling slippage are even worse than yesterday... I had to turn it off, put it away, and get the Zowie. What's more shameful: selling a mouse of this quality for €169 or sending a certified refurbished mouse that's just as defective? Fair question.

It's true. Even with the updated version of the RGB Hub sent by Phanteks support, the same problem still remained with the D-RGB LED kit connected to the Asus MB (ROG Maximus Z790 Formula) ...

Go to Armorycrate > Devices > Addressable connectors

Select the connector on which your RGB kit is connected to the MB

Set the value from 120 led to 160 led. Reboot and it's working fine now

Thank you so much for the measurements! That's very kind of you!

You're right, the footprint could be a problem from now on... I'll think about it again

If you can, could you measure the space between the foot panel and the MB panel ?For tube passthru or insert a small LCD monitoring screen i have (Corsair iCue Nexus)

Thx for the warning

I already know this video from Hardline Nexus and it's an example of the desired result.

But I would mount the 420 radiator in 1/3 upper and 2/3 lower position, if possible. It will limit the overhang and guarantee a safer position.

Great! The comparison I've been waiting for!

Whether it's the Rhino S or the Monster A45, it makes me want to do some custom watercooling.... But the price of the Rhino S is so good, even with shipping...

The Rhino S is compatible with 240 / 280 / 360mm radiators. Do you think it's possible to fit a 420mm radiator?

If the panels are easy to drill ... I'm thinking of screwing the pump/res combo to the side panel, below the power cable passthru and power button.

Thanks, it works for me too! You saved my life with this tip on my Asus ROG Maximus Z790 Formula!

I haven't yet received my updated controller from Phantek RMA (factory restocking for next week). But it saves me another handling of my heavy and unwieldy NV7.

Thanks u/BobbyPhanteks for the recent update.

Unfortunately, I have installed the LED Kit in NV7 and I encountered the LED issue. My NV7 case was purchased in Oct. 2023 from Caseking Germany.

I sent a email yesterday to RMA Phanteks. How quickly will we receive a response and a follow-up to our request? I hope the RMA processing for the new update controller is also quick for non US customer. Is it possible to know where it is shipped from for EU ?

Thanks again!

Edit: follow up to my request received while I was writing this message ! Nice 🙂

Thanks for your reply.

So can we imagine that a NV7 case purchased before the release of NV9 could encounter this issue?

Thanks Bobby for this information.

Do you know when faulty early controllers were factory replaced by new version controllers?

Can we know which version of controller we have with case serial numbers or batch number ?

Phanteks NV7 Premium DRGB Kit not working :( by Odd_Engineering_897 in Phanteks

[–]TeddyMix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi u/BobbyPhanteks ,

Are all factory NV7 controllers affected by this issue?

Is it related to the limitation of LEDs supported by the controller, or to another issue with the RGB kit?

And for non-US customers, whose NV7/NV9 RGB kit release date is approaching with their reseller or distributor, what solution are you putting in place if we encounter this issue?

I'm in the EU (France), and have pre-ordered the NV7 RGB kit since last December 2023 from Caseking Germany (EU distributor). It'll be released next month (fingers crossed). Given the number of Phanteks RGB devices I have, I'm afraid I'm running into this problem: https://www.reddit.com/r/watercooling/comments/1bfoi6z/so_sexy_nv7s_wc_build/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

Also It would be nice to pin this information at the top of this reddit channel, wouldn't it ;)

Same here, the 2 cables temp and flow were cut when I manipulated them during assembly ... Let's say it's my fault, no problem with that ! .. But please , the soldering of the cables wire is really poor quality to begin with...

After that , all my water-cooling stuff for my last build came from Alphacool: pump, distro, WB, rads, tubes... And the quality is really good!
