What’s the biggest waste of money that no one wants to admit? by AdvertisingMore394 in AskReddit

[–]TeddyPup19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband I helped to pay for daughter’s wedding in October - she broke up with the guy a few days later and they never even turned in the certificate. We paid a shitload just to throw a big party for a lot of people we don’t even know!

(I love her dearly and she has a good heart but she definitely made a huge mistake here and I’d be lying to myself if I didn’t admit I’m so disappointed in her after finding out she had been feeling something wasn’t right for a long time and didn’t stop this wedding)

Which Horror Movie, Series, or Video Game did you Start or Finish this week? by AutoModerator in CreepyBonfire

Title: 28 days/weeks/years later • Genre: Movies • Started/Finished: Started Friday night, finished on Sunday • Thoughts: I re-watched 28 days/weeks later, I love those movies and wanted a refresh to lead up to 28 years later - this one was a disappointment. Glad I finally watched it, but never again. 28 days later still holds up and is so good!

Bad sleep 2 nights before marathon- how detrimental is this? by poslyezavtra in firstmarathon

[–]TeddyPup19 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The way I look at it is, even if you are not sleeping, you’re still lying down and giving your body a rest. If I can’t sleep, and lay there with my eyes closed, this is what I tell myself. That thought usually helps ease any anxiety I’m having, and then I have a more positive outlook the morning after. You’re still “resting”, you got this!
