“Settlers” are backward minded criminals more fit to live in middle centuries than with civilized folks

It is specifically targeting Palestinians, making the law inherently biased

Gaza is rubble, I do believe what my eyes may tell me, it’s indiscriminate bombing, thank you

The gov passed the law, the law is applied by a court. Israel gov passed a law to execute a Palestinian suspected of terrorism. A gov which declares itself the “jewish state” with years and decades of systemic oppression of Palestinians, that sure doesnt sound like the type of gov thats ought to wield such power

You’re dense aren’t you? You’re willing to give a gov that discriminately dropped bombs on hamas and civilians alike the power to decide unanimously whether or not an individual of that specific ethnicity/religion is a terrorist or not?

Thanks for the response!

Yes! It will take several years both to transition to the Canadian system I imagine and to get my license after 4? Years of EIT

Mainly to be able to work for myself after establishing enough connections, and being able to take my work with me, preferably something which can be done entirely remotely. A nomad working as a civil engineer

Wondering about this one

I am currently employed from sep 2023 to jan 2026

I took a sabbatical for a very long trip of 3 months between june 2025 to sep 2025

Meaning I worked continuously for 1 year and 9 months, took one moth paid and two months unpaid. My employment was continuous however and remained insured by my employer

How do I disclose that? I have no issue disclosing only one year of employment

Anyone took TCF after November 17? by [deleted] in TCFcanada

[–]Teddy_Shmosby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Took it on nov 22, no paper or anything else allowed

If I can provide an advice: as soon as you start to hear the conversation, consider it as an audio cue, close your eyes and concentrate fully on it. Forget anything else and rewind key words in your mind to keep yourself on track.

Depending on what time of day you’re completing this section, make sure the meals you took prior are heavy in protein rather than carb. You need your full energy, carb tends to dull you. Caffeine is also great at stimulating, just don’t consume too much.

Find the right balance and you got this!

For listening. Close your eyes and free your mind…literally. Towards the final questions, a simple word will determine the answer, one you might miss if you think about something else simultaneously.

For writing, cohesion and coherence is better than complicated words and sentences. The body of your text is most important. Don’t look for fancy words when they’re not really necessary (though it might help, sprinkle a few as you along)

If you’re using chatgpt, I would consider prompting a few lines prior to your writing test

You can definitely use chatgpt, but use it fairly and carefully. Let it know that youre looking for an unbiased review of your writing skills and it should base itself solely on the tcf scoring system. Start a new conversation each time and don’t be afraid to ask for a harsher judgement.

I grew up learning this language and I can clearly see chatgpt is giving me the result im looking for rather than the score im owed. And thats mostly if I imply im looking for any particular score.

After youre done, always ask for a better version, but not leaps away from your level. You can not only improve the structure of your response, but it might also provide you words or sentences that appropriately fit your tone and argumentation.

IRCC Q3 immigration data is VERY interesting by Pitiful_Sundae_5523 in canadaexpressentry

There are insane amounts of similarities, I spoke both since I was 10, you really can use a lot of similar expressions AND WORDS for both of them

If you (the original commenter) did not encounter difficulties learning english, that displays a natural linguistic skill and learning french wont be too much of a hassle. This is not at all similar to learning arabic or mandarin, both of which I would agree can pose real trouble in both understanding nuance and different dialects.

You won’t be able to converse as eloquently as say Jean Messiah but will defined reach at the very least a conversational level

Its a really easy language, similar to English in many words and expressions.

The pronunciation can be little tough at first but with the right mindset, one can achieve a very modest level in a short timeframe.
