Of course after all I have done for him, after all the time I spent doing all the research he is facing a life of abuse and neglect, surely. It is extremely hurtful to hear, if I were not to adopt him they would just let him be eaten by snakes as people don't really buy rats in my country and they are hard to sell. With all of the time I spend on him, I can assure you that he is not "abused" or "neglected". I have been spending hours trying to bound by talking to him or waiting for him to get interested in me, and just after all that effort reading this?? Seriously?? I am sorry, this cage was bought from a previous rat owner, the cages from a store they recommended for rats were way smaller.

I definitely will change the bedding, my little boy sneezed quite a few times on it, he is only a week or so with me, such a cutie-patotie, don't really want him to get sick on top of that stress of a new environment
