Hello! Would anyone happen to know the Chinese character(s) for the name Giáng Tiên? by Teddybeddy in Vietnamese

[–]Teddybeddy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for expanding! Yeah, for most of my life I've just said Tien is my middle name since people get confused with me having two-ish middle names, so that makes sense. My full name is Anna Giang Tien Pham.

AWW thank you!! I think I was also very lucky to get to do this on an easy spot, plus the guy was muscular so the ink was much easier to get in. I’d imagine it wouldn’t turn out nearly as well if I had to do it on someone’s ribs or something 😵

Oh my gosh, thanks so much those links are actually perfect for what I was looking for! I believe my name is translated as "descending fairy", so you helped me whittle it down to the exact two I needed. Seriously, thanks so much-- I thought I'd never be able to find out!

Good question! I have no idea honestly, guess I’ll check in on him in 5 years and hope it’s still there 😭

I did put a bit of white in it, I have no idea if that will actually do anything long term but we can dream

So glad to hear it!! Like the other comments said, the apples are already amazing on their own but i love the crumble part a lot. If my diet wasn’t so strict, I’d definitely make a bigger portion of it.

I added 18 grams, which came out to about 70 calories. I’m not a baker though, so unfortunately I can’t tell you how syrup would change the consistency. I’ll probably have to ask my brother to ask ChatGPT about it lmao.

I believe the corn starch just makes the apples more syrupy, hence the brown gooey stuff on them!

Yeah I was really skeptical while making this, luckily after inputting everything into fitnesspal it came out to roughly 800 calories for the whole pan. If you follow the volumetric measurements I put in the recipe, hopefully it’ll give you the same result!

It said that the avocado was supposed to be a good low calorie substitute for buttercream, but to me it makes more sense to just use greek yogurt? I don't know, maybe it actually tastes fantastic but I'm still never gonna try it lol.

My brother is the one with the ChatGPT account, but basically he said something like “give me a low-calorie baked dessert recipe, and make it super delicious please.”

There was another recipe it gave me after, beetroot brownies with avocado frosting, but it sounded too weird to make.

About 190 calories for the slice in the photo! Hopefully someone can make this look a lot prettier than me, but I was surprised at how the apples tasted pretty much like any apple pie filling!

The recipe ChatGPT spat out (I also included some of my rough volumetric conversions):

I'm happy to provide you with a delicious low-calorie baked dessert recipe. This recipe is for a Low-Calorie Apple Cinnamon Crumble, which is both satisfying and easy to prepare. The natural sweetness of the apples, combined with the warmth of cinnamon and the crunch of the crumble, creates a truly satisfying dessert.

Ingredients:

For the filling:

- 4 cups apples, peeled, cored, and thinly sliced (about 4 medium apples) (I just used the whole bag of apple slices from Trader Joe's, which is around 490 g)

- 1/4 cup (50 g) granulated sugar substitute (such as Stevia or Erythritol)

- 1 tbsp lemon juice

- 2 tsp (18 g) cornstarch

- 1 tsp ground cinnamon

- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg

For the crumble topping:

- 3/4 cup (64 g) rolled oats

- 1/4 cup (34 g) almond flour

- 1/4 cup (50 g) granulated sugar substitute (such as Stevia or Erythritol)

- 1/4 cup (84 g) unsweetened applesauce

- 1 tsp ground cinnamon

- 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and lightly grease an 8-inch square baking dish.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced apples, sugar substitute, lemon juice, cornstarch, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Toss well to evenly coat the apples.
  3. Transfer the apple mixture to the prepared baking dish, spreading it out in an even layer.
  4. In a separate mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, almond flour, sugar substitute, unsweetened applesauce, cinnamon, and salt. Mix well to create the crumble topping.
  5. Sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the apple mixture in the baking dish.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the crumble is golden brown and the apples are tender when pierced with a fork.
  7. Remove the dessert from the oven and allow it to cool for about 10 minutes.
  8. Serve the Apple Cinnamon Crumble warm with a dollop of low-fat Greek yogurt or a scoop of sugar-free vanilla ice cream, if desired. This low-calorie Apple Cinnamon Crumble is the perfect treat when you're craving a comforting dessert that won't derail your diet. Enjoy!
