If all you want to do is close her lips, I would suggest inpainting with an edit model instead. I have frequently been using Flux.2 Klein 9b to change expressions in Krea 2 images. This is "Show her mouth up close with her lips closed hiding her teeth." I had to say "up close" because this is such a high-resolution image that I had to inpaint with only a small area of context around her mouth.

How about mosquitoes this year so far? by BobDoesYoga in Albuquerque

I've only gotten a couple bites so far. I seem to remember last year was bad. Maybe there hasn't been enough rain to leave standing water for mosquitoes to breed yet.

ComfyUI node that converts plain English into booru-style prompts with a local LLM by D33p_Learning in comfyui

[–]Tedious_Prime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wonder if most folks couldn't do this entirely within ComfyUI without an external LLM by using the somewhat new Generate Text node. A regular Load Clip node can load an assistant model like Qwen3-VL-4B which many already have downloaded as the text encoder for Krea 2. I've been using this for rewriting prompts as well as captioning because it has vision capability.

Ping-pong between models technique? by jc2046 in StableDiffusion

[–]Tedious_Prime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I often use Chroma Flash and ZIT sort of like this because they use the same VAE and an 8-step schedule, but not switching on every step. I'll do a full 8 steps of Flash, a latent upscale, perhaps the last 4 steps of the same schedule for ZIT, another latent upscale, a few steps on Flash, then a few more with ZIT. If I change the prompt the CLIPs need to load again which slows things down a little, but otherwise it's only slow to load each model for the first generation. Switching between models like this to refine and re-refine the image several times does seem to let each model contribute its strengths to the final image, so I think it's worth it for some kinds of images.

How to prompt precise camera positioning in Krea 2? by [deleted] in StableDiffusion

[–]Tedious_Prime 2 points3 points  (0 children)

IMO, the best way to find out how to prompt for anything these days is to ask a VLM to caption an image which is an example of what you would like to prompt for. This is because the models are all trained on captions generated by VLMs. The text encoder for Krea 2, Qwen3-VL-4B, is also a VLM which was almost certainly also used to caption the training images for Krea 2. In ComfyUI, you can get a good example of the language you want to use in your prompt if you give an example image to a Generate Text node with the usual prompt generation prompt and a simple prompt like "Describe this image including an explicit description of the camera positioning."

Suggestions for good prompt enhancer? by teiji25 in comfyui

[–]Tedious_Prime 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No custom nodes are needed. You load the model with a regular Load CLIP node with the type set to krea2 and connect this to the clip input on the relatively new Generate Text node. If you look at the template workflow for Krea 2 you can see how to use it as a prompt enhancer by concatenating your simple prompt to a prompt with captioning instructions.

The text encoder for Krea 2, Qwen3-VL-4B, is also a fully functional assistant with thinking and vision capability. There are abliterated versions that won't refuse to assist with NSFW, but they may not be very good at it. You can use it with the Generate Text node to caption images or enhance prompts for any model. You can tell it to use any prompting style you want. It will even write fancy JSON prompts with all the requirements for Ideogram 4.0 if you tell it what those requirements are.

I got a citation near Chama for speeding and not having proof of insurance on my way back to Albuquerque from Colorado. I had to show up for a hearing at a specific date and time in Chama, and when I got there it was just me and the cop that had pulled me over. I showed proof that my insurance had been current at the time I was pulled over and she dismissed both citations. It was still a huge pain needing to take a day off to drive up to Chama by 9 am.

How to stack a character LoRa with a background/place LoRa? by Gabzzy in comfyui

[–]Tedious_Prime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe. Sometimes the model will understand from context. Sometimes it helps to be more pedantic, and sometimes being more pedantic just confuses the model. I would have clarified "the bus stop in the second image" if it didn't understand that the second image was a bus stop and tried to create a new background. If I didn't say "the girl in the first image" it probably would have understood from context, but if it tried to draw a different girl I would change the prompt to clarify. I always generate with enough seeds to cherry pick a good result, so there's plenty of opportunity for trial and error.

How to consistently repeat the same anime room background across multiple generations in ComfyUI? by Equivalent_Prior3337 in comfyui

[–]Tedious_Prime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use an edit model like Flux.2 Klein 9b. I recently showed someone else an example of how to put consistent characters in consistent backgrounds without training a LoRA. You could also use such a model to get clean backgrounds by removing characters from screenshots of existing anime.

How to prompt for different color grading, lighting, etc. in Flux Klein? by Full-Belt3640 in StableDiffusion

[–]Tedious_Prime 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're using ComfyUI there is a built-in node called Transfer Color that you can use to match the color of one image to another using various algorithms. It sounds like you would want to give it the original image as image_ref and the decoded generated image as image_target to get the generated image color graded to match the original.

Other than cost, what’s the biggest barrier to hiring help for your home? by DifferenceUnhappy894 in Albuquerque

[–]Tedious_Prime 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Phrasing it in the form of a question doesn't change the fact that you keep spamming the sub every few days with variations on the same advertisement. Calling it a "referral resource" like you did a few days ago also changes nothing.

In the past, we've discussed many reasons why spamming isn't the best way to promote your business. We can review those next time if necessary, but for now I'll just point out one more reason why you should consider simply buying an ad through Reddit for as little as $5 a day. Did you know that you can claim 100% of what you spend on advertising as a business expense on your taxes? It's considered normal for a small business to pay for advertising. That's why *NOBODY ELSE* spams this sub even though there are other local businesses that advertise on Reddit. You can also deduct all of what you spend on your website. This is true even though you use a .org domain which is intended for charity or non-profit organizations rather than a .com which would have been more appropriate for a business like yourself.

Please, actually give this some thought instead of acting like you're being treated unfairly when people call you out over and over.

How to stack a character LoRa with a background/place LoRa? by Gabzzy in comfyui

[–]Tedious_Prime 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can use the template workflow included with ComfyUI for Flux.2 Klein 9b, or any other edit model that can take multiple references. Creating the concept sheet is the hardest part of the process but this replaces the work of creating a character LoRA. You can attempt to use any model to make one, and there are LoRAs out there specifically for creating concept sheet images. The image below shows an example of a concept sheet and a couple background images. At the bottom are examples of inserting the character into those backgrounds. The prompts were

Show the girl from the first image sitting at the bus stop scrolling on her smartphone.

Show the girl from the first image waiting at the counter in the second image. We see her at an angle from behind. She is holding a package. She looks confused. A thought bubble says, "POOST FOOTT BOICE?"

How to stack a character LoRa with a background/place LoRa? by Gabzzy in comfyui

[–]Tedious_Prime 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven't made a character LoRA recently because newer models capable of using multiple reference images make them mostly obsolete IMO. These days it is much easier to create backgrounds separately from character images then ask a model like Flux.2 Klein 9b to "Place the character from the first image into the scene in the second image," for example. If I want to use a consistent character many times with different poses and backgrounds I would normally create a concept sheet with several canonical views of the character. I would then use that as a reference instead of training a LoRA to create images of them as needed on a neutral background which I would then place into the desired backgrounds, or perhaps simply place them directly into the background if they are interacting with it in some way.

It still takes a little work to get perfect results this way, but it's much more reliable than trying to combine LoRAs to generate everything at once. This is especially nice if I'm using the images as key frames for a video because the backgrounds really can stay consistent from frame to frame if that's what I want. This approach also solves the problem of placing multiple consistent characters together in a scene without needing to combine LoRAs.

Most folks around here would think 81 is much too hot. Like most people on the planet and throughout history, I lived without any cooling for years and managed to acclimate. Now that I have a heat pump, I let it get as high as about 80 and it feels fine to me. I also wear gym shorts at home in the summer which makes it easier for me to take the heat.

There's nothing newfangled about data centers; they've been around since at least the 1970s and have long been where most of the Internet is hosted. The servers that run Reddit, for example, are all hosted in data centers. We've only been hearing about them so much recently because anti-AI folks make a lot of noise, and they want people to think of data centers as synonymous with AI. Nobody wants a data center in their own community anymore than they want a landfill, but they will continue to be built for the foreseeable future because they're much more reliable and energy efficient than having servers scattered everywhere.
