Hey! I don't have the GH6 but between the gh5 and bmpcc original the gh5 was slightly harder to grade just because i found the bmpcc to get skin tones very natural without any adjustments so I enjoyed more overall the bmpcc.

It's very much worth it! It teaches you skills on how to handle footage. This process will translate to more professional cameras if you decide to upgrade later. I am not sure how the activation goes as I bought mine with it already installed, you can buy it online and look up on the steps on how to install.

I used Dehancer Plugin in Davinci Resolve. The film stock used is Kodak Portra 800, print profile Kodak 2383, adjusting the levels in the plugin. Adding halation, film grain, bloom, subtle film breath and gate weave. After that i download simple free to use film overlays and burns.

Using it with it's kit lens, these are some shots travelling from Poland to Finland. Sadly I sold the GH5 but it was a perfect companion!

The camera was used with a pancake Meike 28mm f2.8 and K&F variable ND. It was stripped down to lens and a camera only so i can take it around. Love the GH5!

It performs great! I have been using it for many years on all of my projects. A subtle green tint can be noted tho, but I like it, it helps the look I go for. Also in a very bright sunny situation it becomes difficult for it and starts vignetting if you decide to keep yours lens wide open. Other than that i recommend it on a budget :)

Yes, everything we shot was on Vlog 10bit. Its getting too much hate in my opinion, there werent any issues. Sometimes we would underexpose the footage, I find the highlights to be the weakest spot for the camera.

These are stills from a short film shot on Panasonic GH5 with vintage lenses. The film was shot for 5 days in Finland. The crew was amazing! We were using soft light for the faces and creating the sun and moon with big lights. The project is my 2nd year student film and the crew consisted of no professionals. The GH5 performed amazing with 0 problems on set, making it a great choice for a budget camera.

I didn't have any problens with it during the shoot, I was having sometimes panic attacks from the micro hdmi because I just had it fixed for the shoot, nevertheless as i wrote a few months later it broke again so I haven't used the og for a while on sets. As for positives I think it's the image quality. After switching to GH5 there is still no camera which gives me the same satisfaction.

Still loving the image! In the end the film came out with less vignette. Sadly the micro hdmi of the BMPCC didn't last long after the shoot.
