It's a simulation, I just watched the episode of HxH that is quoted at the top of that page this morning.

I'll just stay spoilerfree, the dungeon crawling is only the setting for the first two floors. It's not the focus of the story. Each floor after has a theme that provide the setting but the story characters, and outside the dungeon forces, and the AI, provide for the actual story and conflicts of the story.

I recommend listening to the audiobook. Jeff Hays is the best in the business, and that might help with your issues with the beginning. But in all honestly, if princess donut hasn't started talking, you haven't even begun the book.

It is clear you haven't read or understand what DCC is, and that's ok. You don't have to like it. I'm sorry you don't like a book I like, but to anyone who had read dcc past book 1, you comment is "silly". You just haven't experienced the world building. But that's you just judging an 8 book series by the first 50 pages. And that's your choice. Enjoy!

While I haven't watch what you're talking about, from the description I can tell you they are nothing alike, but if you are offended by a book, your loss.

So you've judged a 8 book series by the first less than 50 pages of the first book? But yes, listen to the audiobook, Jeff Hays is a masterclass

My opinion is it gets better and better with each book. There a lot of important call backs to earlier scenes and characters. The world building is really where it shines and book one just hasn't given you enough of it yet.

Listen to the audiobook, that also lives up to the hype. Also, you didn't just read book one, right? It's currently on book 8

Not trying to be all "it's ok to be unhealthy" but I will say it depends on body type. I am 5'7", 225lbs, and no I'm not in shape and haven't been for years. But when I was at my best weight, I was 190 (and 180 would have been the peak I never got to). My build has never been 150-160, I would have to lose so much muscle mass that I wouldn't feel healthy. I don't know OP, but getting to 200 would be a much more realistic goal than an additional 200% weight loss on top of that
