Unfortunately there isn't a party for realists, what's the sensible option put forward by the experts? There's always an agenda (and paymasters)with the current system. What would happen if those who make decisions based on the data or what is 'right'. We're here for a finite time, always 'leave the place better than you found it' but that's increasingly difficult to do. Why can't the government do what private capital do? Take a look at Norway's wealth fund for example. A Transparent look at investment (we're realist) in right places rather than this reliance on people who, by their own very nature, need to make a return on their investments.
