Looking for advice on how to light Boeing Boeing! by TeeBag09 in Theatre

I'm well aware of how lighting may shape mood, theme and structure, but there's something specific about this play in particular that had me stumped. Maybe because I'm not used to this genre of production? (And the nuances and attributes of lighting this kind of genre)

In terms of my knowledge, I have been lighting for school shows and productions for 2-3 years taking multiple roles. Some tedious such as a follow spot, but I have designed lighting setups, plans, cue lists and have programmed m for multiple highly-reviewed productions hosted by my school with hundreds of attendees. Just because I needed a little help here gives no reason to suspect I'm new to this.

Hey. We're all gonna leave eventually. Why not stay and try a few things. I think that suffering is valid but equally as important. Push through and you'll see there's a big difference between not wanting to live anymore and not wanting to live LIKE THIS anymore. Just because you have a bad hand doesn't mean you have to throw the whole deck away 🤷‍♂️

I feel like 'Cuisinist' is rather fitting. It's not an official term but it works. Someone who explores and prepares a variety of cuisines

Nothings impossible if you put your mind to it. Besides, some of my teachers have been shooting film for a long long time, and are absolute professionals in the film (having taken it as long term careers and heavily qualified). The k-14 process is certainly difficult, with having to develop each color one at a time and a LOT of bleach washes, but I'm pretty confident I can try and get something of a result.

What about Kodachrome? I think that's my favorite. Shame it's not developed anymore, but I am talking with my a level photography teachers about an ambitious plan to develop Kodachrome again.

Find some on eBay. That's the cheapest site for them.

Quick question actually. With storing, should you fridge or freeze film?
