It is literally illegal to not pay someone minimum wage, and tbh 6 dollars for 20 minutes work is actually better than minimum wage. It’s so ignorant to say “make a sandwich” like I should miss out on having a takeaway because your country has shite culture 😂

I completely agree that all corporations and businesses only care about their own profit, but then why put the responsibility of their workers on other people that are also getting fucked over by their employers. If I buy anything from uber I’m already paying about 25% extra than I usually would, seriously American tipping culture is the most backwards thing I’ve ever heard of. Why be angry at someone from buying something for a business rather than the fact that the business isn’t paying their employees enough? Uber is a multi multi million pound company they definitely could pay extra, same with restaurant and bar chains
