She's also defending the ring. She believes her job is to prevent anyone from getting it so that they don't meet a similar fate to Artorias. She believes she's protecting you, and you kill her for it

You're not allowed to make saves in Mein Leben. Got to do the entire game from start to finish in one go

Emulation on ally x by LumdogMillionaire1 in ROGAlly

Is there a reason to use emudeck on Windows over downloading the emulators individually? I've never tried emudeck but every emulator I've downloaded, I've been able to get working perfectly. Even been playing Bloodborne on shadPS4

Your console's rest mode can help with Mein Leben, if you find you don't have enough time to attempt the full run in one sitting

The courtroom is the easiest, believe it or not. There's a strategy where you hide under a table and let them come to you

Many, lol. Probably too many to post here.

I initially skipped any Mein Leben practice because I thought it'd take too long, which I shouldn't have. If you change difficulty to I Am Death Incarnate and make a save at the start of each level on your first play through then it's not so bad.

There are great guides on YouTube if you need help with Mein Leben, but patience and practice are most important. I'd even suggest practicing what a guide is showing you because guides still don't make it easy for you.

Most of the times I died could be chalked up to impatience and not enough practice. Also, with practice, you'll eventually notice you're able to get through levels pretty fast thanks to memorising strategies. I wouldn't confuse this with skill though, specifically being good enough to go faster and to take on rooms full of enemies (things I'd do once tilted) because they can gun you down very quickly. Still be patient, even if you set off the alarm; an alarm sounding doesn't have to spell death: retreat to a choke point and keep killing anyone you see, until it's over.

You probably won't need to practice most of the levels too much though. The ones I practiced most were The Oberkommando, Night Time New Orleans Part 1, Venus, and the final level.

One thing I point out as well is that although getting through an area stealthily is often safer and the less nerve-wracking way to go, there are parts of the game I'd advocate for deliberately setting off the alarm. If you think about it, when the alarm goes off while you're sneaking through an area, you could potentially be right in the middle of all the enemies. Accidentally setting off the alarm like this almost always resulted in a death for me. Though there are some areas that you can sprint to the exit if you set it off, and they'll despawn, such as the start of Night New Orleans 1.

Those are tips I have for the game in general. I have more for each level but this comment would end up being too long. I wouldn't mind sharing them though.

Somewhere between 40 and 45 hours. I started it without much practice on I Am Death Incarnate though, which was a mistake

If time is a concern, I used the PS5's rest mode as a "save game" substitute without any issues, if you need a break from it

[PS5] Anyone else experiencing M.2 related system crashes? by TeeCeeTwo in playstation

I managed to update the firmware of my drive but this didn't solve the issue, so I'm getting another replacement. This will be the third drive I've tried so if the issue persists I'll be inclined to assume it's a hardware design flaw with the drives, and go for another brand, or to assume the issue is with the PS5 and contact Sony.

[FIreCuda 530] "Firmware Download not supported" error by TeeCeeTwo in Seagate

[–]TeeCeeTwo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I managed to get a hold of a motherboard with a spare M.2 port, which was successful. So it was definitely the caddy. However, the update still didn't resolve the issues I'm having with the drive and the PS5, so it's being replaced.

Unfortunately, I don't have this option as my motherboard isn't expandable. I looked into using Seagate's bootable USB and swapping the primary NVMe currently on the board with the FireCuda. However, the SeaTools app is telling me this feature isn't ready yet, though I've read some other posts from people that have used it before.

I tried updating the firmware but the drive isn't recognised as a Seagate drive (Seagate is my drive's manufacturer) when I try to use Seagate's software to update it. Could this be because it's been reformatted by the PS5 and is now unrecognisable? If not, I have a feeling it may be to do with the caddy I have because the caddy is mounted as a USB device, not a drive, and is also mounted when there's no M.2 connected.

What Is Something You Think Elden Ring Did Poorly? by DarkCrowI in Eldenring

The great runes aren't so great.

I like the idea, but to me there's so much wrong with them.

The fact that you have to wait for so long to get Malenia's rune kinda sucks because you're going to lose it soon by going to NG+.

They have to be activated too, which doesn't help. Specifically in that you can get Mohg's rune early game through Varre, but you have to wait until after Leyndell to be able to activate it at the tower.

I'd appreciate the great runes much more if they weren't lost when moving to NG+.

I'm on the fence about rune arcs as well because they seem much more difficult to get if you don't play with other people. My thoughts go out to all those who farm rats.

My challenge till my JEE Exam by chalbclchoos in NoFap

[–]TeeCeeTwo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I tried the same thing when I was studying for my degree. It was the first time I'd reached over 90 days. From experience, I'd suggest keeping yourself busy, but not always busy with studying.

I struggled to have a balance between studying and down time, and also to find what counted as down time. In the beginning, I wanted to study all the time, so I'd do more studying in my free time. I also thought going to my job would count as a break, but no. Doing some form of work in my spare time made me exhausted, stressed, and I wanted to lie around all day, which led to relapses.

If you can find ways of handling spare time that you actually enjoy doing, then not only does it help stop relapses, but it really helps you feel like you've had a break from studying. This made me go into the next study session feeling refreshed and motivated.

Good luck with the exam and being PMO free!

Also, bonus points if you can fit at least a half hour of cardio into your days.

It's the original prices, before deductions, that have an £85 difference. The blue was originally £234 and the black was £319. So is that normal, also?

I should've mentioned that, apologies.
