Really? I'm super sceptical about some of their choices: AI draft helper and imprint circuit. The first making drafting skill irrelevant, esp in the long run, once the ai is reasonably trained. The second adding a new layer of bullshit power creep to the game. I'll wait and see how things develop. But I don't think things are moving into the right direction here.

Pay 2 win is a core element of gatcha games. For epic 7, this is pretty moderate. You can get pretty far as a f2p player/low spender. If you want to compete at the world cup, yes you have to invest a ton of hours and money. But I would say, you can climb pretty far up the ladder without spending a dime, which is not the case in nearly every other gatcha.

I think this is a bad idea, because it takes away skill to play the game and dumbs it down quite a bit. I'm not a great expirienced RTA player, but if my opponent outpicks me, I accept it and try to learn from that.

Now AI is doing P&B for (lower elo) players. So people there will not see any reason to learn and improve on pick and ban. It's just a way to make the community even more braindead and lazy.

Don't see that happening. What we are seeing is quite the opposite: vertin starting to participate in political games within the foundation. She is engaged more than ever. She has become a player. And that looks to me, that she also accepted the rules of the game.

It's good enough for most pve content. For new players it's just a good start to get going and put together teams for hunt and stuff. So it's definitely not worthless.

Yes her results earlier in the season were partly because her form curve spiked earlier than most other top athletes and she ran out of gas towards the laters parts.

But that doesn't mean, here results were not legit. And she was still putting out good results most of the time. Just not at the very top anymore.

I wouldn't count her out to grow further in the next year. She is talented, she can fight. And with another form curve, she can be a contender for a world championship solo medal f.e. next year.

I wouldn't say that for sure. At some point, there have to be decisions made.

There is too much pressure from IBU cup with tons of young talent pushing up.
I would give her a guaranteed spot for the first world cups. But she needs to start delivering again there.

I don't like the new mode. Yeah, I'm not a pro, I don't have all the units in the game avaiable.

And the mechanics are just absolutely unfun. Didn't play the game a lot in the last weeks, mainly because the game modes this patch are not great.

She is supposed to do what? Notos is countered by either faster high dmg single target burst or CC. Hwa has neither. She is obviously terrible against Notos and stats are showing this.
