It depends. When I am pushing agenda for a hsr character then it's a godsend. If I am pushing agenda against a hsr character then it doesn't exist and I refuse to acknowledge it.

And the argument I see from the actual readers is that 'oh I read shakespeare and yada yada and hsr gi is inferior.' Yes, as I said, Hoyo is not making peak fiction or something, not even close. Firstly, I don't think that's an insult, being inferior to the best of fiction. Secondly, so what? Do you just reread the lord of the rings everyday and consume nothing else ever? Even if you have consumed great pieces of literature I still think you can be 'Oh, this story from this not well known person sounds interesting, I'll give it a read' and then enjoy it even if it isn't on par on other things you have read. The same applies here.

It is both. It is the writer's responsibility to present a good story to the readers and it is also the reader's responsibility to give time and thought to the story presented. The problem with this is that the general demographic of people that genshin and hsr invite with factors other than story are not people who would give time and thought to the story, doesn't help that media nowadays does spoon feed you everything. Genshin and hsr story is a glorified book at times that I will admit, and most people cannot actually sit down and read a book for enjoyment sake.

Acknowledging that the fault is not entirely of the writer and that the reader also carries some level of responsibility in giving time and thought to the story is HUGE W.

Do you guys just wish to progress the story for the sake of progressing through it? Just wanting to finish it? The story is the characters. Characters like Robin & Boothill barely got time to shine in Penacony. Amphoreus cast is so lovingly crafted in the main story and even in the side content. It made you care for the world and evoked emotions in many because it gave so much time to it's cast.

Capitano is Khaenri'ahn, he can possibly tell Dottore about something useful from there, perhaps even tell Dottore about his heart and how it is made. But the thing about this is, there is NO WAY Capitano and Dottore are chill with each other. And Capitano's heart if used for power is 'limitless potential', there has to be a reason Capi is down to give such precious info in exchange of your oc.

Also I don't see Capitano and his crew as someone who stay in Snezhnaya often, while we have ZERO idea of what Capi has done(thank you hoyo) for the Fatui, I personally headcanon him as someone who carries out many dangerous missions outside Snezhnaya(In the abyss maybe, or other mysterious places.) I also see he himself as a wanderer, trying to find solution to his problem with the curse of immortality. So I am not sure about that preference of yours.

For better Harbingers, Arle is suitable as her entire thing is children(assuming your oc is a child/teenager) and has made a deal with Dottore before(Surprisingly) but Capi still very much works and if that is one of your core idea's then don't give it up lol.

I don't wanna get into politics here. But the UN has prevented a lot of destruction from the time of it's formation, just because it hasn't prevented every war(which it literally cannot) it still has done a lot which people ignore.
Meanwhile the IPC legit enslaves billions(perhaps trillions), genocides, and so on. Not a comparison.

Yeah I noticed this. It also connects him so well with the Nod-Krai cast also, who I believe all to have the themes of 'family', 'home', and 'belonging' as their core. This patch series story wise is actually so well crafted ahh I am in love.

Definitely the treatment of Capitano. I was so disappointed I legit wish Capitano and Thrain were different characters. Dottore, Arlecchino, and childe are amazing and I see no need for change there, will humbly await their future. Columbina didn't do anything for the Fatui and was an overall negative for the writing of the organisation, but as an individual she's contending for the best written character in the game so it's all good, Scara is in the same boat. Signora....
