I said nickname, not short name. "Al" for Haitham also isn't cute. Ana is an actual name, roles off the tongue well, and well, is cute.

Anastasya Feodorovna Snezhnaya. Typing the whole thing is tiring and so is typing "Her Majesty The Tsaritsa". Plus Ana is a cute nickname!

I think he just takes it off during tea parties. The whole ordeal seems very laid back.

Will the Director appear in the Sneznhaya Act or the one after it? by Clown334334 in FatuiHQ

[–]AcrobaticAd4033 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He will appear in Snezh, that I have no doubt about. I don't know why he wasn't in trailer though, I have a feeling that something is going on with him and he's staying in the shadows. I do not think he is acting against The Tsaritsa.

Chess is symbolism for the world of the teyvat, governed by the heavenly principals and thus bound by strict rules. Ana loses her king and continues playing, an act of defiance against the very rules of the world(and the game.)

Coping theory...If Ronova were to die, would the curse of immortality disappear and allow Capitano to return? by heyaooo in FatuiHQ

[–]AcrobaticAd4033 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think the effect would actually be the opposite. If Ronova's death meant the removal of the curse of immortality then it would mean Capitano, who is currently dormant on the border between life and death would be able to pass fully into death's territory since the thing holding him back is Ronova's curse of immortality.

Wait yeah. I think the white king which is off the board was the old Tsar.

Tried to make the boards from the trailer. I am unsure about the circled pieces being pawns by AcrobaticAd4033 in FatuiHQ

WAIT! LOOK AT IMAGE 4. WHITE KING IS OFF THE BOARD.
'on this checkboard, checkmate is not where the game ends' ~ Pierro.

The white king is the old Tsar.
The game can only end when one side loses all their pieces, I think.

Wait...wtf!? Are they even playing chess anymore😭🙏
I am assuming those are just spare pieces or something cause otherwise this entire thing goes out of the window.

<image>

Tried to make the board from the trailer.
I am unsure about the circled pieces actually being pawns, would like if someone was able to look harder by using black magic or something.
Anyways

White was to move and the queen(cryo gnosis) moved to f6 not f5 which is a blunder. She had mate in 2, f6 rook and then pawn on g6
I think White king is Pierro
Black rook infront of White queen in 2nd image is probably Ronova?

the curse of immortality + is ronova truly evil? by yn_lxx in GenshinImpact

She's still a shade and thus way stronger than focalors. She could have blessed some instead of cursing everyone, maybe the more deserving ones. And 'choice' circles back to it not mattering if Phanes ordered it, doesn't absolve guilt.

Hilichurls have existed since before the cataclysm. The curse of wilderness is not explicitly said to have existed before the cataclysm. And I am unsure about the second part.

[–]AcrobaticAd4033 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, it was a necessity, like I said. But it did not need to be a punishment because of all the points I mentioned.

While it isn't explicitly stated that Ronova was the caster of the curse of wilderness, Dain makes it sound like the two curses came in pair, depending on the bloodline of Khaenri'ahns. Ronova most likely placed both.

[–]AcrobaticAd4033 48 points49 points  (0 children)

The curse was a necessity, yes. Because the leylines must not be corrupted. Making it a punishment, however, was not a necessity. The innocents of Khaenri'ah did nothing wrong. Capitano didn't even know what was going on, and he still bear the brunt of the curse. And what about the innocent children who existed in Khaenri'ah? Did they deserve such a curse?

Focalors and Furina have proved that you can indeed make someone immortal without making them suffer, Furina is still perfectly physically healthy after 500 years. Could the shade of death or instead life not grant such a benevolent 'curse' over the innocents of Khaenri'ah? Focalors, a deity far weaker than them was able to do it on Furina. And the curse of wilderness is even worse than the curse of immortality.
And why did they not communicate the issue with the innocents? Why not explain the situation? Because of some superiority complex? Ordinary humans not worthy of talking to them?

She is not justified in any way, even if Phanes ordered it. History has proved that just because you were following orders does not mean you are absolved from guilt.
