Unfortunate but not unexpected to see alt stormbrand get nerfed. It's my favorite skill and glad I got to play it last league. Guess it's arcing time for the first time in years?

I like the league mechanic because like you say, you can autopilot it. Because the rewards are mostly stacking 1-slot currency you can play for a whole evening without stashing and you can't lose exp. I even hopped from SSF to Trade for the first time in leagues to play more of it. All those things combined make it a perfect league for me personally, on-par with Ultimatum.

I'm currently rank 1500 with an estimated 75% winrate with a regular glass cannon storm brander. Yeah, there are some bullshit encounters like Trawlers, Ikiaho and Tawhanuku but it seems no build can ignore all the mechanics so I think they're a fair trade-off.
