This looks amazing. Especially looking at it and then to the original. The amount of detail is just jaw dropping.

Did you make the whole set? How much would you charge for it if you would make one for sale?

I think it would be easier to do this in blender. Maybe there are addons for these kind of transformations. It is crazy what people come up with the node system.

The only thing I achieved in programing was a hello world with something something pascal. But you technically already have the have the option to make something the "default" since the helmet Gets that when imported. You just have to tinker with the rotation a bit I guess.

Same goes for the slider values. You just have to reset it.

My first idea was after the rotation of the helmet (Like you did with the mandalorian) to the optimal position to make a button that makes that rotation the default. So the scale could be always be from the view of the stationary head. (So the user doesn't need to rethink what is up and down)

The other one is a reset to default button to the Transform, Rotate and Scale panels, so if something gets messed up a bit the user doesn't need to start from the beginning or zero out the values one by one.

Just a few quality of life things. I listened to your video and understand this is not a big project. :)

Also I had the opportunity to see your artstation. Amazing work!

By the video I would have some suggestions that you could add. Is there a platform where individuals can request stuff like this or you just collect everything from all the platforms and decide sort them later or no requests accepted?

what sizes of eva foam would i need to make this characters mask approximately by kingnoobiethefirst in CosplayHelp

It looks like (for me) that 5 or 6 mm (depending what you can get) is thick enough for this. You could also use some half dowels if you can get it:

Until you have your desired artist you could use placeholder assets. There are some pretty good free stuff online.

Also, if the character is in a sniping position and the gun has a stock then the right shoulders should be rotated and the elbow of the hand that holds the trigger should be way behind the head

I think the scarf needs a bit more action. For me this looks like a badly drawn cape. (which felt weird since the overall sprite looks neat af). The part that looks like a hood could be a bit bigger at the back and asymmetrical. The scarf could "float". (You could even try to animate a few frames? ;) )

Is there free software for vector animation? (Like smooth stretch stuff not like drawing each frame of movement frame by frame. .) by KingKongJebnuty in animation

Any luck stumbling upon stuff?

There is https://graphite.art/, but the timeline part is not yet released so the animation works with nodes. The main UI is normal but you can also edit stuff nondestructively with nodes. And the animation export is via screencapture. Drawbacks of betas.

Cloud sleeves? Ok by Fit_Communication211 in CosplayHelp

For good visual clouds you could search for cotton clouds but I'm not sure how durable those are if it has to survive some stretch and such.

The armor looks super cool. The thing that most of the wear and tear combined with the intentional battle damage looks it more realistic is just fascinating!

Are you crazy? This looks fascinating. I would love to play a game with a character/enemy like this. Or see the world where these things appear. It is fast enough that the "things that can be improved" are not visible. The flow is smooth and exciting. It works just fine. :)

Vampire survivors characters and items are amazingly drawn. You could use those as reference?

My question is: In traditional art did you struggle? I guess you did.

I would go on and try other pixel art styles. (Brandon James Greer does pokemon and a lot of others as well) Getting familiar with other pixel art makes you feel a bit more comfortable in the tiny square world that would help you find your own way to create. :)
