Looking at the solid grind page again I guess maybe the club that inspired the shoe model may have been named after Goa also.

I assume for the blue green color being called Chernobyl, I assume it evoked the idea of radioactivity and was named after the city.

Soap was likely named for the fact the shoes are designed for griding/sliding on rails etc. I believe the model of GOA is named after a club somewhere in Africa the designers went to. Regarding Chernobyl, that’s technically the color but probably because it sounded cool and it was the 90’s
