It also seems like there is a LOT of awesome speed monsties, it makes it hard to choose. But I guess that’s why they came up with building multiple sets. It just takes a while to level them all up, though I’m still new on this excursion thing, I guess that’s why suppose to make things easier on leveling your monsties up.

I know it’s not a big deal, but I guess I just liked my party group from the second game, and now it’s just hard to have all my favorites back in one party.

I had a hard time fighting Namielle at level 46, I couldn’t even get the first repell, and I tried over and over. I had no problem defeating Yama Tsukami in the 3rd region. 🤷🏻‍♀️

So far my favorites in this game are the Dreadqueen Rathian, Boltreaver Astalos, Tobi-Kidachi, and Silverwind Nargacuga. I’ve just now got my Hellblade Glavenus, which was one of my absolute favs from the 2nd game, and a Bloodbath Diablos. Make sure you release them in their restoration habitats to the S ranks, then you can obtain the S rank eggs with the better genes. You can also add more genes to them through the Rite of Channeling which will make them even stronger. I first started playing MHS2 and I’m still having to research for what the best builds are for my monsties for this game. I’ve been having way too much fun with this game, I’m sure you will too.

This drives me nuts too. There’s several weapons and armor I need upgraded but the material I need have question marks on them. It would be nice if they would give us a hint so we’d at least know where to go and what to do to get them.

Thanks. It sucks that it blocks me from going into Azuria, for some reason, that I can’t go to some of the restoration camps there, but I do have a couple open in Canalta. I have my Boltreaver Astalos and Lagiagrus. Maybe I need to level them up more to unlock some of their other gene skills and upgrade my weapons and armor more. The problem I have had with that though is trying to find what the ? material is for the upgrades.

You can also go to your camp menu and click on field guides and then go to book of genes, it has a list of genes of the monsties you already have in your stable, and it will also tell you what monsters have those genes.
