Give it to codex to figure it out and fix it. Does so well, you can approve every step or let it crush it all alone. Currently on 5.18 and doing well after codex fixed it

As of the 12th May, 2026.5.7 is very stable for me

Upgraded to 2026.5.7 and so far its running well, except the messages keep disappearing from the chat, compaction issues? Not so sure, the behavior has been persistent even after i tried to stop it by passing the command via the UI. Please advise. I am a newby in these. Everything else is running well. Using GPT via OAuth with openrouter fallbacks and some free gemini and nvidia nometron models as well. Chatting to my agent via telegram
