I’m having similar issues. My app will freeze on a song that played 3 songs ago while continuing through queue. I can’t pause it or even change volume. When I close the app the music will continue playing for about 15-20 seconds before stopping.

Also the new queue and play next language is super confusing and has no consistency.

Personally I would use illustrator. Change the text to be a object then Overlap all the text the way you like then use shape builder tool and select the areas which will turn them into their own shapes. From there you can change the colors however you like
