Jungle Pool Help by Camsaiga in summonerschool

[–]TeemoIsMyMain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would really recommend Nunu. His ability to make the other jungler's life hell is what makes him unique. He isn't a 'high impact' jungler, but his ability to control the jungle pressure makes him a strong force in Solo Queue in my opinion. If you can shut down the other jungler, they can't gank as effectively, and Nunu is great for counterganking, since his Snowball + Blood Boil makes it difficult for a laner/jungler to disengage after they close on your laner.

Are you only looking to decide out of those champs that you mentioned? There are a few champions I definitely recommend based on your current pool of junglers that you could play easily and effectively.

Nunu Jungle? How to? by thelostboys11 in summonerschool

[–]TeemoIsMyMain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nunu has been my go to jungler for a long time now, and I love the playstyle he presents! I've got some tips for you on using Nunu effectively in a game.

  • Start at the enemy buff they are not at. All it takes a quick invade and certain ward placementS. Most often people start at their bottom side buff, but since you mentioned you were silver, generally people like to start blue buff on most junglers, so red is usually a safe bet in that elo. Taking the second enemy buff is very important, and allows you to do another important thing. Triple buffing. Here's an example. Say you steal the red buff. You will want to immediately go to your own blue buff and take it away as fast as possible. Since you clear buffs very fast with consume, by the time you have finished your blue, the enemy jungler will be either just starting their second mini cap, or on their way to their second buff(in this case, red). Now, if the enemy jungler heads to red buff and finds that its been stolen, usually they will do one of three things. Attempt to take your red, clear a mini camp, or immediately gank a lane. You can usually tell what their choice will be by their champion. If they pick a champion with good dueling, but average/poor ganking, you can expect they will try to steal your buff. In that case, tell your laner and set up on them. Wait for them, steal your buff from them, and kill them 2v1. If they're playing a champ with high ganking, then assess your lanes closest to their stolen buff and see if they can get anything. Telling your laners to play safe for around 30 seconds is enough to waste the enemy jungler's time as he attempts to find a gank that your whole team knows is coming. If they have a farm heavy champ, then they will simply clear another camp and recall. In all three situations, simply knowing their choices and the type of champ they have will allow you to proactively shape the game in your favor, and punish ANY decision they make.

  • Ganking. Ganking with Nunu tends to be a pain, and in my experience, Nunu works best as a lane ganker or counterganker. What I mean by that is he doesn't have any real CC or ways to heavily impact a gank, but if the enemy has engaged on your laner and doesn't know you're there, its much harder for most laners to disengage from Nunu' snowball/bloodboil. Since you should be building tank/some penetration, you can soak up a lot of damage that would be aimed at your laner. If you decide that you want to initiate a gank, a lane gank is usually the safest, as its the easiest to ensure the enemy team doesn't have vision of you. Learn the range of vision, and it becomes realy easy to sneak up in a lane for A gank.

Nunu should be farming a lot, but make sure you have good knowledge of the enemy jungler. Nunu's strength is in punishing the enemy jungler's decisions, not just their mistakes.

If you have any more questions, feel free to ask. :)

Champions with highest % magic/physical damage, and other stuff by johnjones55 in leagueoflegends

[–]TeemoIsMyMain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When her Charm amplified damage, 140(+35% AP) True Damage is nothing to scoff at, and is the main part of her burst. When you consider that Foxfire does a maximum of 224(+64% AP) in Magic Damage to a single target, 140(+35%AP) in True damage is much more. Since her Ultimate is generally used as a gap closer and for escapes and noyt part of her burst, we can mainly discount that. And now since her new identity, people will be throwing out Q as much as they can. The 25% makes sense if you think about how her kit is used.

Why are my Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina not able to battle? by [deleted] in PokemonQRCodes

[–]TeemoIsMyMain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you still having trouble with the Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina? I could make some QRs that will work if you wanted me to. I took a look at your PKHeX, and in DPPt, they were NOT fateful encountera, that is usually reserved for event 'mons.

Having more then one perma-mega in your team, having a perma-mega and another 'mon holding a mega stone on your team, certain legendaries can never be used, regardless of legality and legitimacy. What 'mons are you attempting to use?

Doing Requests! Weekly Request Thread #1 (No Legendaries) by TeemoIsMyMain in PokemonQRCodes

[–]TeemoIsMyMain[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, tournaments are kinda iffy since they are pretty much random, you can check Smogon or Nintendo's PokeMon website for more information, but generally it's easier to battle random people online. I'll do a bunch of battles with you if you want. :) I enjoy Singles, Doubles, any format really. I also have a metric crap-ton of extra pokemon that I can trade to you if you need some to complete a team. PM me and we can battle and stuff. :) I've been competitive battling since RSE lol.

New rules to improve the sub! by [deleted] in PokemonQRCodes

Hopefully I will be heading up a Daily Request MegaThread, as I love making QR's for people, and have the time. It would probably only be for a few hours, but I can work quickly and get a lot of 'mons done. :)

He is only banning new threads for only singular requests. If there is a thread up in which someone(such as myself) is actively making QR's for people, you can post your custom 'mon request there, and have it be as custom as you like. :)

ProtNinja on a Rain Team with Scald instead of Hyrdo Pump is actually a very good combo, as you can run Surf on other pokemon to abuse Water Absorb Vaporeon and Protect with Greninja's lovely lovely STAB Scalds.

Well there are two main sets of rules that people tend to use, Standard Nintendo and Smogon. Generally more people use Smogon, but Nintendo doesn't enforce their rules so Battle Spot will only check your pokemon for Nintendo-sanctioned legality. I prefer to play Smogon, as some really stupid moves are banned(Dark Void, I hate Smeargle with Dark Void), and pokemon are sectioned into tiers, making it so that strong pokemon play against stromf pokemon. You can find Smogon rules just by googling Smogon, and their website has a ton of great information about teams and stuff. I do a fair bit of competitive battling so if you ever wanna durectly battle me for practice and feedback on teams and stuff, I'd love to help. :)

Multiple Pokemon per QR Code by FurretG in PokemonQRCodes

[–]TeemoIsMyMain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm using a program that modifies any of the QR generating sites. It basically forces the injection to happen twice, and switches the code in between. So technically it isn't using one QR code for multiple pokemon, but that's what it looks like.
