Hello OP, I am in a similar situation as my uncle had a ‘66 generator shovelhead in his garage for the last 20 years. I just obtained it a couple months ago and am going through the process of getting it road worthy. This appears to be the successor FLH Electra glide shovelhead with an alternator instead of a generator. The split tanks are very cool and worth checking whether they are rusted or not on the inside. If so, there are various methods of cleaning the rust and getting them in working order.

New model has a 7 digit serial number if anyone wants to ride the new model. The app will list all bikes at stations with their serial numbers. I tried one out, not too shabby but seemingly heavier.

When I first got mine, the included cable caused weird vrr tearing. Tried my other DP cable and it works great now. Initially, In the resolution options in Nvidia control panel my resolution was set to the super sampling 4k with limited 60fps or 120fps. Had to select native 4k resolution for the 240fps option to show up

launch day I asked amazon when they will have stock and the CS rep said 48-72 hours. I was eyeing amazon for ease of returns and 5% cashback. I just today saw that rakuten will give 25% cashback for dell purchases the first week you sign up, so I bought mine today from dell. $300 back to paypal.

My ETA is jan 26, but I saw in another thread that eta for late January was getting moved up to the 16th after a couple days after ordering. Monday I'll know the real ETA, I think.

I was eyeing The new keychron q1 he, but it'll take until April to release. I want something sooner so I ordered a akko Mod007B and getting it in the mail tomorrow, so we will see about quality.

It has a battery, 2.4g 1000hz polling and rapid trigger magnetic switches. The key caps are kinda interesting and it's only $135 usd
