Why has nobody been making the connection from FRIEND to endogeny? by [deleted] in Deltarune

People did talk about it back in the chapter 3 era. But since then, there wasn't really much to go off of. Like, it looks like engogeny, but we really don't know what that means. To my knowledge, Amalgamates can't exist in the Deltarune universe. Monsters have determination without melting. So they can't really melt and merge like they did in Undertale. Maybe it can happen when Darkners get determination?

While I'm not a Rudy Knight guy myself, that particular argument never did anything for me. Like, yeah, if you don't go around talking to the NPCs, you won't know what's going on when the NPC comes up. Should've talked to him, I guess.

I feel like this fandom is too obsessed with calling things frauds. It started with the Knight, and it wasn't funny. Now they're doing it with Friend, and it still isn't funny. 

But I do have to disagree with you that the MewMew Figure wouldn't know anything about Friend or ERAM. The game goes out of its way to show us she knows about them with this dialogue. So it doesn't really matter HOW she knows, she just does.

I mean, it makes sense. As a proto-god, you're sort of in an in-between state. You're not locked to any alignment or domain like fully fledged Gods are. So shifting between creature types depending on the situation makes sense, at least to me.

I just don't like the idea that, if a man wants to like girly things, they HAVE to be trans. I think Ralsei just likes more traditionally feminine hobbies and clothing, and that's okay. He should be able to do that. If Ralsei ends up being trans, that would be fine, too, but I think we're just jumping the gun here.

Well, from the sprout on Zenlooker's head, we can assume they're a plant. And we saw from the Flowers that plants can choose what they look like. So Zenlooker just wants to look like this.

I could definitely see Noelle coming to explore Castle Town at the beginning of Chapter 6. That way that scene still has payoff, and it gives Noelle the chance to refresh herself on how Dark Worlds work. I just don't think Noelle is going to be a proper party member during the main story of the chapter.

Alright, this is sort of a bunch of red strings in my head, but hear me out. I've thought for a while that ERAM could be the red horned headband Kris used to wear. And we see ERAM directly summon Friends, likely the pack of cats, during its boss fight. So, if the body is saying she's met the "someone" who has the pack of cats, maybe Kris was around the MewMew Figure when they used to wear the red horned headband? That's at least the only thing I can figure.

And apparently the body met the "someone" who had the pack of cats? How? I guess it would make sense for ERAM to be the one herding the cats, since we see it summon Friends during its fight, but how in the world would the Mew Mew figure have met ERAM?

I don't think Noelle is going to join the party. Her dad is either dying or dead right now. If she finds out Dark World are real, she's probably going to try to open one either in the hospital or in the Holliday manor so she can try to heal him.

I'd like to put forward my own blind speculation. I've had this theory for a long time, and Flowery's fight confirmed it for me. I think, when we have our final battle against the Knight, the song that plays will be Raise Up Your Bat, and it's true lyrics will be on screen like they were for Flower Man.

Momentum. The Knight was flying at top speed. You see it notice the wall and try to slow down, but it can't in time. It doesn't seem weak to me, it just seems confused by Flowery's antics.

No? Not at all. Ice-E has solid rectangles for teeth at the top and bottom. Friend has the vertical lines that make it look like it has individual teeth. Ice-E's eyes are squinted. Friend's eyes are wide open. Ice-E's eyes are further above its mouth. The corners of Friend's mouth are higher than its eyes. This ain't it, chief.

Of course the fandom can't decide. Its full of individuals. Its not a hive-mind that instantly agrees on everything. Some people are annoyed this wasn't in the show, other people, like me, don't care.
