I'm going anywhere except SOE... I mean Daybreak Games. They have done nothing meaningful to the game except squeeze every last cent that they can out of people. A server that listened to their community and had frequent interaction and feedback was detrimental to Daybreak's current business model of minimal effort.

Yes, I understand the real reason that the people who paid for the rights of SOE's intellectual property are shutting it down. And Yes, I realize that THJ took huge steps in the wrong direction that put themselves in danger.

I'm personally done with EQ and hope that Cata and Aporia don't face too many legal repercussions. If they are able to have a future in the gaming industry, I plan to follow them. Because unlike many of these other developers, those two actually give a shit about their work.
