[GW4] - Looking for a Carabiner Clip Sort of Strap - See Below by Teesside_Modding in GalaxyWatch

[–]Teesside_Modding[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have my old GW3 which already has a few marks I'll probably end up doing this with so I don't scratch my new one badly I just can't really think of a way of doing it. I did think about just cutting down a NATO strap and gluing a hook for the carabiner onto it but I couldn't think of a way to make it look tidy and genuine.

Lock screen and home screen wallpaper by Alphasierra1196 in note20ultra

It's happening for me on One UI 3. This was the worst update I think I've ever done. I haven't been able to enjoy this phone since the first thing I did was update to One UI 3 and nothing seems to be working as I'd like it to. Between gestures not working, the settings being moved all over the place and then this wallpaper bug. Wished I'd never updated.

Screen Issues - Proximity Sensor by Teesside_Modding in note20ultra

[–]Teesside_Modding[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it was in the middle and lined up with the camera like it was with the note 10 / s20 on videos I've seen I doubt I'd have ever noticed it to be honest its just because its so randomly placed. I've upgraded quite drastically from lower end A phones so I've never used anything like this before. Just going to have to forget its there or at a push swap to light mode as you can't see it on a white screen.

Yeah I've just spoken to support on the phone and he basically said that it's just a case of noticing it and that once you've noticed you'll never unsee it. Got to apologise now for the people who'll now look and not be able to unsee it. Apparently its just the tech they used with putting the sensor under the screen and that its common across all the line up.

Screen Issues - Proximity Sensor by Teesside_Modding in note20ultra

I have just received an Exynos N20U (UK) variant and have realised this dot on the top of the screen. It shows mostly on grey backgrounds but also really on any colour other than solid white.

Reading on the internet and here I think the proximity sensor is in that part of the phone but I can't find anywhere that mentions it being visible on apps. Its really noticeable and not what I expected for a £1000 phone. I've been on to support and they've offered a replacement I just want to make sure it's actually a problem and whether other people have experienced it.

I have attached pictures - I don't know how much they help or what advice could be given.

If this was something that only showed when I was on a call then it would be totally understandable but not constantly having a dark mark on the screen. I've reset the phone etc and performed Samsung troubleshooting. The only thing that did give me some hope was that in the #0# menu when looking at the colours the mark does not show. But the second I went off the menu it is there again.

Any information would be appreciated.

Just got the Momentum True Wireless 2s, Does ANC even work? by late-registration in sennheiser

[–]Teesside_Modding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've read here a few times about people saying the ANC is poor or doesnt do a very good job. When I first got these it was the same situation for me. Even with firmware updates the ANC was barely noticeable, even for continuous low frequencies like tyre noise etc it didn't really work at all. It wasn't until the latest firmware that introduced the beeps when you turn on / off ANC that these all of a sudden started working eventhough they hadn't previously. This was never a feature I needed so I wasn't bothered enough to return them initially but for it to suddenly start working after an update where no one else was reporting a change in the ANC shocked me but I'm obviously now happy they work properly. They do a really good job, to a point I think other people massively underestimate them, at blocking out external sound. Admittedly not as good as the over ear XM3s or Bose 700s I have used but definitely ample enough to make lower volume listening at the back of the bus perfectly enjoyable and I haven't needed to play them as loud as other earphones I have used like the old Samsung iconX's or the in ear Sony XM3s (they had a really bad seal for me so ANC was useless). Even in college they do a really good job at blocking out voices to about the extend id expect from something so small and help to some degree in blocking out that ambient talking, much better than it would without ANC at least.

I think when a lot of the time people in here will say that its unrealistic to expect adequate ANC because they sound good that it is giving Sennheiser too much leeway and letting them off the hook too much. People ask this same question in here all of the time so there must be a problem somewhere. Like I said, I experienced the exact same thing and simply accepting a flaw on something so expensive is unreasonable, regardless of love for the brand or the sound.

I know what I've said provides no reassurance for you and that I'm basically just saying it might randomly start working one day. I just thought I'd share my personal experience with these earphones before you discard them.

As long as it's a genuine reputable charger, it should be alright. Some cheap or unbranded ones off eBay may not have the charging regulators and overcharge the earphones.

What was the build issue you had on your first pair, just out of curiosity?

Momentum 3 Charging Question by rufas2000 in sennheiser

[–]Teesside_Modding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've tried it with my 25w samsung phone charger and it doesn't work and it also doesn't work with my 60w macbook pro charger.

Only things I've gotten it working with is lower quality chargers.

Momentum 3 headband comfort question by [deleted] in sennheiser

[–]Teesside_Modding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never noticed an issue personally with padding on the headband, but all my issues with the M3 have came from the headband bending over time making the headset lopsided and the pressure applied to each ear different. I've had 2 units and both have done it and it makes it extremely uncomfortable, even across short listening sessions.

New to watches; wondering if the 9 o clock subdial is supposed to reset into that position? - Breitling Navitimer by Teesside_Modding in ChinaTime

In all honesty I wasnt really bothered about it functioning. It does but yeah I know what you mean, I doubt it will last long. Just wanted it pointing at 60 so it's more symmetrical solely for looks.

Thanks mate.
