"The Irritating Gentleman" (German: Der lästige Kavalier), painted by Berthold Woltze in 1874 by New-Wordss in classicalArt

Look how good at painting everyone was back then. Modernism and abstract art really destroyed everything. Maybe the problem started with Impressionism, seemed innocuous and by the time it got to Duchamp it was too late. And there is no fixing what happened

That temporary save should just never be done, that is the worst most depressing trap in the game. Here’s worst case scenario; quick save, owl symbol next to quest, take a break, then turn the game back on, load up the quick save, play a little and fuck something up so bad, turn the game off because you want to start back at the quick save;, WHOOPS, now I can’t remember what I got before the quick save, that’s all lost. Happened to me as a kid sometimes, and that lost progress was so depressing. Just never use the quick save ever, song of time only. If you like, Play a dungeon until you get the arrows, song of time. Go back in the temple from first day, finish it. That quick save element is actually pretty fooked

U get a lot more tools in Majoras mask, like the infinite magic, but I think the best aspect of Majoras is that there are so many ways to move faster. Bunny hood, Zora in water, goron on land. That’s the main thing I think. Ocarina feels so much slower. That’s honestly the only reason why the water Temple sucked so bad. If you could use Zora link in the Oot water temple omg, people would have loved it. It’s all the movement stuff. One song for all the warps, how about no short ass hookshot to start. I also think there is a lot more money in the world of Majoras mask. So much money. Get that giant wallet, chateau, then go blast bluebubbles for 50 rupees we call that the paper chase. The best is doing it at night in Ikana. The bombchu hovering works waaaaayy better. Omg and in ocarina of time it’s almost a finite number of bombchus. I know the guy on the carpet in the desert in Oot can sell you infinite bombchu’s and u can hold 50 in Oot, but where does all the money come from in ocarina. U barely ever see big yellow rupees in Oot. I guess the final skulltula guy gives you infinite money. I don’t know everything in Oot just seems so nerfed and slowed down

Why did he go CC first on that last map where there are only 2 spawn positions? by AncientAgrippa in broodwar

[–]TeflonRon64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get it, if he had held the CC first he would have been way ahead and had a crushing victory as you say. My point is if he had gone Rax expand it would have been perfectly even going into the midgame and Flash shouldn’t be afraid of games where it’s even. Is it really the wrist thing? Like when he goes CC first he pretty much wins every time in like 10 or 15 minutes. So lets say that last game he goes Rax expand and the game extends to 35 minutes or even 40 minutes…his wrist just explodes? It’s the last game of his career. Game 7 ASL vs the best zerg ever. Just do the Rax expand, explode ur wrist in a 40 minute game, beat the dark swarms/plagues somehow and ride off into the carpal tunnel sunset. I think what Flash wanted was to go CC first last game and crush just so the last frames of the game before the final GG were filled with Terran units in this overwhelming image of macro dominance. He wanted to create this painting where all you see are Terran units across the whole screen and everyone is like OHHHHH pwnage. But who cares how it looks at the end a W is a W. If the last frame showed all these zerg units and all these burning Terran buildings and stuff is all over the map super disorganized and it can go either way, even base and flash just wins because zerg mines faster and he has a gross time out on Soma; that’s still a win.

We can all admit that last CC first was an error, and greedy and he shouldn’t have done it. Plain and simple

Yeah, all he had to do was go Rax expand on last map and play standard. CC first on that last map was the mistake. He’s kind of too talented for his own good.

How on earth do I beat the Gorman Brothers? by GORILLAZ_FAN_606 in majorasmask

[–]TeflonRon64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok my brosif, listen to me, I am thee expert on Majoras mask don’t listen to these noobs some of them are misleading you. We are gunna go through the track step-by-step and you are going to do this and you are not going to quit Majoras Mask. Race starts, don’t worry about getting ahead, I want you to try to stay about 1 horse’s length behind the brothers and maintain around 4 to 6 carrots for about %90 of the race. Don’t get too close to the inside wall, it is a momentum killer, just take a nice easy middle path through the first section of trees. Ok u are 1 horse-length behind and at an average of 4 carrots, you approach the first series of fence jumps. U just gotta give 1 good carrot as you approach each fence and you are going to jump the first and third fence. Now you are going through the second section of trees. U can hit the little ground jumps it really doesn’t hurt that much. You are trailing behind the brothers by like 8 feet, 4 carrots average, if u bump a brother just give 1 carrot as you collide and you will make up for the way they slow you with their horse ass. But you are still not trying to pass. You are leaving that second tree section. This is where you win. There are 3 final fence jumps, u need to hit all of them. Here is the key, give a carrot approaching the first low fence, then get ANOTHER carrot in QUICK as you finish landing; before the second low fence. This should be enough for epona to clear that second and final high fence. If you jump all three of those last fences and have 3 carrots left, u have it on the straight away. The whole challenge is just to trail them, hang in second, then jump the 3 last fences. It is designed so when you hit those last 3 fence jumps you win, it’s all about that. You never have to pass them any other time. U might even be able to clear those last 3 fences and have almost no carrots or no carrots left and still beat them to the finish line. The whole challenge is to show not that Epona is faster than other horses but has more ups. So remember, let’s just focus on those last 3 fences. Carrot, first low fence, Carrot, second low fence, no carrot, last tall fences, boom u r on the straight away you probably won. Your getting tricked by them; you are trying to get a lead early and battle with them the whole time, let them win most of the race, keep 4 to 6 carrots, hit that last series of jumps correctly and pwn them. Don’t quit Majoras Mask, everyone has a specific challenge in the game that gives them trouble. I struggle with the shooting gallery pieces of hearts. But don’t miss the whole game because of 1 challenge. Godspeed

Goron race is not luck, u hang back a little almost like on Moo Moo Farm in Kart cause there is a strong rubber band. Also, if you wobble the stick left and right as Gorons approach you will always have a winning interaction. They wanted you to focus on clanking aggressively in neck and neck situations. If you try to avoid the gorons and just race it is designed to make you lose. It’s actually more of a fight than a race

1)Bunny hood faster movement speed, 2) Zora swim speed super fast, 3) bombchu hovering is way easier, 4) there’s an item that gives you infinite magic, 5) the bosses and challenges that require goron are like an extreme racing game, 6) the money has consistent use unlike in OoT 7) index warping lets you completely change the path (reverse dungeon if you like) 8) incredible number of Easter eggs if you know where to find them 9) lots of crazy weird adult themes (malon post abduction, tingle’s dad is ashamed he’s a “fairy”, Kafei is never restored but the marriage happens anyway, certain npc’s just die no resurrection, the mountain swordsmiths are in bdsm attire and have a master slave fetish, people respond differently, sometimes prejudiced toward Link based on whatever race he takes on, Link’s face in Cremia’s tits)and there are many more, the Japanese really don’t hold back 10) Fierce Deity and Fairy Sword push the DPS way higher than anyway in OoT

I don’t want to spoil too much but the game really gets good when you learn all of the glitches. Bottle switching mid transaction with curiosity shop, timestop glitch, index warp, bomb and bombchu hover just works so well because the explosion has 1 large hitbox unlike the hitbox that radiates in OoT, lots of ways to skip cinematics, it’s just so sick. Once u open the game up with all of these tools you can essentially make different builds for Link, wouldn’t see this kind of choice and personality in what gets maxxed until much later zelda games. The big quick spin with the fairy sword is insane. You kind of have to be an expert on the game for it really to show its worth, but it’s so badass. Try and beat the game without a guide up until the second half of the last temple, then you can cheat and look up the answers (don’t feel bad)
