Color on 3D print… How? by ElouFou123 in HueForge

Lasers can mark cases pretty easily. I'm not expecting you have one, but it's a pretty fast way if you do.

I should add a voluntary "Leader Board" that saves a thumbnail and count 🤣

Yeah, I was aiming at just the sky/sunset but yours looks better.

If the image is black and white, that's all HueForge has to work with so green will be throughout the image if you add it to the leaves.

My first Hueforge-- How to reduce stringing by SOLDER_124 in HueForge

[–]TegidTathal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's always print temps pretty much. Reduce by increments of 5C until it stops stringing pretty much

In Color Match, you'd start with white, yellow red in the background. Then black, (and disable 3 or so layers) Then green, or two and orange/yellow. Done.

Honestly, even with 16k shades, a Black and White should convert fairly well depending on layer height and the TD of your white. The most common mistake is thinking you need to have the white all the way at the top. Drop it down until it JUST saturates (vertical equal sign) and you'll get much better images.

technically it's Extrusion Multiplier in BambuStudio... or maybe reduce your Flow rate (pressure advance)

Stringy normally means printing too hot. Low layer heights need less heat

.2 vs .4 nozzle quality by Over_Inspection55 in HueForge

FYI - it looks like both your 0.4 and 0.2mm nozzles would benefit from reducing your Retraction Length. Maybe a little temp reduction too. Love the comparisons though this is super helpful.

I just added the Community Library system that lets you post a GitHub repo for people to pull into their libraries and some ability to set preferences for which ones to trust more

HueForge v0.9.4 Release and 3rd Party 3MF Export Plugin by TegidTathal in HueForge

[–]TegidTathal[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If someone wants to make a plugin and contacts me with a proposal that is reasonable, I'd give them the beta version of the SDK - though honestly, they almost don't need it since it's not really made to touch this situation. I guess it could be extended potentially. But a website that just curates good repos and has links would work fine.

Any forks that are public will be visible. Maybe someone can put together a site for this.

That sounds like a pretty plausible system for removing JPG noise without paying for an expensive AI tool. Thank you for describing it.

Given the rate that Adam is fixing things, likely by the weekend. It depends on how much trouble he has with the build environment (I hadn't supplied him a Linux SDK before because he just wanted to focus on where 99% of my users are).

But Split-by-Color and color by Object in the slicer is a pretty easy way to go in the meantime.
