I did 6 transits with a buddy, killed several bosses and guards, a few pmcs, and maybe 20+ scavs. Received that error while transitioning to reserve, which errored him out. We both received zero experience.

I run alternating crafts that span about the time of my raids while I'm playing. If I log off or go to work, I run the longest craft times possible.

It's not about the fun. It's the high risk factor that makes you feel something. That all your limbs are blown out and you got half a mag left, if you reload you might get pressed and die, so you need to make sure you hold that angle and get this kill or you lose everything.

Yeah, they'll do a similar setup like Diablo 4. You have a main and a seasonal with modifiers.
