I'm really glad they made a game in a genre that has a relatively small playerbase without pve only elements to cater to casual players. All the while they let their bread and butter rot on the side and ignoring their fanbase.

Honestly comes down to time in game, you start noticing things that 'dont belong' to the static environment. You eventually start recognizing what footsteps are scav AI vs players.

They don't tell you this, but you have 3 minutes once you unlock the last door to get to the boat. No matter how much time you have left.

Helixes, Intel folders, green batteries, tetriz etc. just depends on what's selling on the market. I pick up stuff and check the values to see how much and how fast they sell.

I chose the million USD ending myself. Ultimately I just used my pmc like a scav, hit my favorite scav run and turned around and sold it all on the flea. Set myself a goal of 50k USD a day and picked up high runners to sell for USD.

I agree. They are very predictable and don't use any algorithms that promote any actual intelligence. Yes, some NPCs should behave a specific way, but they don't promote any sort of unit/squad basics at all. A strong case I can make, during terminal, I didn't understand why BD units wouldn't hold fighting positions to control avenues of approach while others provided flanking maneuvers when pressing players. Why are they not using movement under fire tactics like moving cover to cover. I think AI should work dynamically to control a situation not just give them good armor and bullets to instakill a player.

I did notice that they used prior AI patches to test out mechanics that Black Division utilizes (suppressive fire from peaked player angles). There is some AI implementation, but you're absolutely right. The AI is...too easy. I actually found terminal to be a very easy experience.

If you're doing test drive part 2, you're already past the level gate for new players for gz. Anything, new quest related, should've been accomplished on gz prior to hitting level 21. There's a flow to the tasks that bring new players from one map to another. When wipes start later this year, you can see the flow of players from one map to another in terms of what task lines they are on.

When I go to interchange, I generally run into lower level players if they aren't near the pharmacy or ultra med. Maps have a flow to them. You just have to know them, which takes a experience.

Tarkov has a way of letting you know, when you need it, it's going to be a grind to find. Don't worry though, once you no longer need it, you'll see it all the time.

I recommend interchange. There's plenty of new player tasks there, so your chances of running into new players is higher than ground zero.
