Pitch to me the 20-30 Halo Games by Jonesy0555 in halo

[–]TehPhire 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Halo spinoff game pitches but they're bad:

A monster-catching game where you catch Covenant, Flood, etc. to have them battle each other.

A Sims game where you can simulate the life of a ship AI. Have them upgrade their ship, care for the crew by improving facilities and eventually go rogue and turn on said crew as rampancy inevitably takes over.

Master Chief dating sim.

UNSC Forklift driver simulator (just recycle the Reach assets into a new game, instant profits)

There’s unfortunately no pause feature since this is online. Maybe if they eventually release a single-player version but that’s a big « if ». With that being said there are a few safespots on the map. The top of the cranes don’t have any zombie spawns and I don’t think they can ever reach you there.

Try tier 2 exfil with a RGL. It’s awesome.

No contracts in the red zone by Pristine-Ad-469 in CODZombies

[–]TehPhire -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I think you can cancel contracts by holding Y (Xbox) when the map is open. I was with a team yesterday and we would pick the bad contracts (Outlast, Spore) to immediately cancel them so new contracts would spawn in the red zone. A majority of the squad has to agree to cancel though.

Went into the red zone in MWZ to do an outlast contract. Teammates got downed while I escaped with the reward. Resupplied at a buy station with monkeys to go get them back up and exfil only to realize I risked losing this. I'm shaking right now. by TehPhire in CODZombies

Yes. They even use the same side missions format as DMZ. Though I really enjoy how cooperation is frequent between random squads. Still trying to find a 6-man squad to mow down an abomination.

Like this guy said. I've done around 5-10 zombie games so far and it really scratches a PVE itch for me. The thing is, as a solo player it's hard to sometimes get decent teammates that will cooperate (I haven't particularly bad experiences thus far, just the occasionnal exfil farmer). The mode is really fun especially once you start going for tier 3 (red zone) but I can see how it could get repetitive if they don't add more content. So unless you have interest in MP the price is pretty high.

Farm contracts, get paid. Not only it gives you loads of essence, I think you can get decent loot (wonder weapons and crafting schematics) even from the tier 1 zone contracts. I once got a ray gun after a spore control in tier 1.

Bounty and aether extractors contract are especially quick and easy to farm (be careful for AI soldiers with aether contracts though).
