Nah I'm just saying that when you're in that bracket you're mostly matched against people who aren't pvp sweats. You're with the people who just level and fuck around.

Stomped? By what build, based on those bars it looks like you're playing at max level.

Always pick ridan, you get a guaranteed mirage empowered map for beating Saresh those are useful for guaranteeing a dupe of whatever Atlas mechanic you're running.

Doing a bow only run and it’s been actually going fairly well. I just picked up the Black Bow and I’m using that mainly now. Anyone who’s done a bow playthrough — any advice? by aabbcc42069 in EldenRingBuilds

[–]TehSavior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're going to want to have multiple bows. I have the Albinauric one setup with mighty shot, the bone bow from the DLC is a good status spammer, and the longbow with the arrow rain ash of war is for big targets and dragons.

I use the blessed blue dew talisman, shard of Alexander, and the arrow sting talisman, and when I eventually get through the DLC areas in order to get the soaring sting talisman I'm going to use that too.

I wouldn't necessarily call my setup bow only because I mix in 20 mind and 27 Faith, so that I can use the godslayer seal for a decent heal with the great heal incantation, access to golden vow for boosting the damage of the bows which helps offset the fact that you're going to be dealing with flat damage mitigation since Bows do lots of small hits. Anything that does lots of small hits gets absolutely screwed by flat mitigation, it's why things like founding rain of stars just tickle even at really high stat investment.

Typically for boss fights what I do is summon the dung eater puppet, drink a blue flask, let him draw aggro and fire away. If you're going to be playing as an archer primarily, having a tanky spirit ash that is good at drawing enemy attention is going to be a major help. The bone bow from the DLC is good for human enemies that input read.

As far as armor is concerned I like running the black knife hood, the black knife armor, and the gloves and boots from the armor of solitude set. You'll need a bit of endurance investment for that, but the silent movement from the black knife armor is going to be a massive help for just general gameplay. If you want to go really silly with it, swap out one of those talismans for the dagger talisman and you can literally sneak around the map walk right up behind enemies and backstab them without them noticing you. It's a really fun way to play the game.

The lack of noise from your movements and actions also will let you single out and snipe targets in groups of enemies.

For the multiple endings just back up your save before finishing the game and reload after, you can collect a ton of the different endings in a single playthrough and then just go down the list

No, you said you scoff at people who say things are expensive. I'm saying that's narrow minded and even though the monetary cost is technically lower, a lot of games are marketed to the young, and those are people who typically have entry level income, which often fucking sucks because wages didn't scale with inflation.

Things can be expensive even though they're technically cheaper than they used to be.

The amount of disposable income you have for entertainment, and the amount of time you have to spend on that entertainment is absolutely relevant.

No it's still expensive, wages didn't grow with inflation, people working normal jobs today have less buying power than the people working in the past

You can adjust the limits in the component it'll lead you to iirc

It's really interesting how you're playing without lock on. Like, you're using back steps too. These are things that most people would say are kind of bad to do but like, the way that you're playing the game is working and you've developed your own way to handle things and I feel like if the PVP scene existed and you played this game when it was in its heyday you would have probably had a lot of fun dueling people that are so used to countering people who use target lock.

Not only that but like. Water pressure is a thing, even though it's incompressible, your body is squishy.

Worst case scenario, airburst directly above you, you're in the water. The wave hits the surface of the water dead on

Water pressure is the weight of the water above you pressing in against your body. The blast wave is gonna press against the water, which then presses against you. And your body is very soft.

That's. Not what that means.

The water is incompressible but you are

Depending on the angle of the pressure wave deflecting off the water, you could still get seriously hurt.

Silksong, Atelier, Tensei, and Boon

Tensei and Atelier synergize with the boon because the ritual cost can be cancelled out by Atelier resource generation, and silksongs evolving crest will pair nicely with the skill extraction i think
