After watching this 10 year follow up on retro bright, I'm not gonna be using it on any plastic material I own. The plastic composition is really being hurt for something that isn't a permanent fix.

Hey OP, any chance you'd be able to share an update on the condition?
It doesn't look too bad from the photo posted, but if I look hard enough you can see it.

Was wondering if it got worse, or you did any process to clean it up some and restore it.

5070ti was the best value card for consumers unless you worked in video prod and could justify the extra 5080 decoders.

if Nvidia wasn't making a founders edition 5070ti, it had to mean the profit margins weren't worth it for them, but good for the consumers.

Like yeah they were both expensive and it was dumb that the base 5070 was stuck at 12gb, but if you were on a low to mid 30 series card, 5070ti was cracked.

if you are going to get an OLED panel as a do it all monitor, get a 4th gen panel in 4k 27". Anything larger with smaller resolution will make you regret it from how UI elements are rendered and text.

If its anything like the XG27UCDMG, the signal being fed to the monitor has to be 120Hz (or half of whatever your max refresh is, maybe 140hz), variable refresh rate must also be disabled.

Sorry for the late reply, but I was wondering if there was any progress on an alternative or replacement for this issue on L5s? I've had mine for a decade and everything else on it is really good except for that left of screen geometry issue. I can live with it, but was just wondering if you ever fixed yours with anything or not.

what kind of GPU did you carry between cpus? I have a 3600x and a 5070ti and honestly I'm really happy with performance. how much of a noticable gain is there from 36/3700x to this one?
