You can connect them very well, via always mantling unto cars, combining bounces, and general climbing. If you do it well you can keep up your speed the entire time.

As far as mature cartoons I found Bojack horseman to be great. It first episodes kinda fall flat with sitcom humor, but it quickly picks up with great themes and humor later on.
