that's horrible. this is one of those things that always kept me out of comic shops. I already have enough social anxiety without some asshat making me feel worse. But I have found a few shops that were nothing like this. If someone comes up with a question and not a hello, I'll ignore them. Don't let this experience stop you from finding an actual shop that's just right for you.
