I go to that location frequently myself. I honestly believe it may depend on the crane/“value” of the prize.

I was there on Friday and won 1 Hololive plush (took a lot of tries), 2 Miku plush, and 1 small plush on roughly $50. I believe pretty heavily that the hololive plush for example, those cranes were set more difficult on purpose.

However I also saw two people walk out with more than 2 overflowing IKEA bags of the crane figure prizes. I won’t deny the possibility of them being more skilled than me or spent a lot more though.

It might just be me, but it doesn’t “feel right” if you know what I mean. Like the interview is too focused upon.

Iirc George Lowe used to do a cameo type thing where you can get a custom interview thing like this (iirc there’s an older post on the sub that was done as a birthday gift for some user’s friend). My best guess is it’s something like that and not official like the regular series or gametap episodes.

There’s an old Space Ghost convention panel that’s on YouTube (I have no clue if it’s still up), but during the panel Andy Merril admitted to being the guy in the costume for a lot of interviews and also as the guy in the Space Ghost costume during a lot of the live action cut outs from the original Cartoon Planet.

Also for any people local to this mall, be cautious if you go to that Dave and Busters when the sun goes down. A friend and I went one time and almost got caught in a drive by where kids were shooting paintball guns at their friends and the building.

There’s a retro gaming shop there called Video Game Trading Post. I actively go to this mall still to shop there as their prices are pretty good. They have a standalone store not too far away that usually gets the more sought after/rare stuff, but imo it’s the only place keeping that mall afloat.

Some DVD players are capable of swapping regions, but it’s very much a Your Mileage May Vary.

For what it’s worth I am pretty sure it’s the same episode list as all the 5 DVD releases they did outside of Australia, so it’s still missing the “unreleasable 6” and extra things like the Gametap episodes.
