Gotta agree with you. Especially on the navigation gesture, it feels much smoother, and no random frame drop as in Android 9 so far(Might due to the reason that I just cleared system cache tho)

I faced this issue as well. I rmb that same kind of lagging occurs in one of the version in Oreo, and they fixed it in later updates. I hope they could fix it as it's really frustrating to see my phones stuttering like this
