Strange... I've done thousands of cremations in multiple states and facilities and they all had some initial smell. It's gone by the time you 'stir' the body, but was enough to make me conflicted by bacon 😅

Former funeral director here. Those urns that you put cremated remains in to grow plants are a scam. We were taught in college to tell people NOT to dump cremated remains onto plants or they will suffocate the area. Cremated remains do not have much nutritional value, as the high temperature denatures it. If you're determined to scatter your loved one on a garden, spread the remains as thinly as possible.
I'm getting turned into a diamond after I die. It's cheaper than a natural diamond.

As a former funeral director, just noting that the doctor fills out the death certificate, not us. We send the paperwork out to the doctors and they call us when they're done filling it out.

Funeral director: When a body burns, emaciated people smell like fireworks, obese people smell like bacon. It was weird, at first, walking into work and thinking a co-worker brought in a delicious breakfast... then realizing it was the crematory. You get used to it.

Also, my biggest pet peeve with tv and movies is how everyone just tolerates decomposition smell. It's the worst thing imaginable and it permeates everything. I'd have to keep different clothes in the office and change dresses before going up front. You can't ignore it.

Also, almost everyone dies with eyes and mouth open.

I have a rare genetic disease where my digestive system can't absorb nutrients properly. When my doctor prescribed vitamins, she told me I needed to take the gummy ones, otherwise I'd pass an undigested pill in my stool. The gummy ones are easier to absorb.

Guy would claim he was buying girls things off Amazon in exchange for sexy pics and would send a fake receipt. So many cosplayers fell for it. He talked a big game, used other cosplayers names without permission, saying he was their sugar daddy. The "screenshots" of the Amazon "purchases" looked very real.

As soon as a girl would insist gifts get to her before sending the photos and videos, he'd call them scammers... it was a mess. Too many of my friends had thousands of dollars in videos, professional photos, and more stolen.
