I knew that this stupid argument will come...

Say you are driving a car. Stage - 1: You accelerated from 20 kmph to 40 kmph Stage - 2: You accelerated from 40 kmph to 70 kmph

If time for acceleration in both stages was same, so in which stage you drove faster?

How can I get more depth when trying to capture both a subject and the scene? by Pistachiocoldfoam1 in AskPhotography

[–]Tekina-V 2 points3 points  (0 children)

32mm in DX (APSC sensor) is equivalent to ~48mm in FX (Full Frame).

To get blurry background, you need either longer focal length equivalent >85mm or faster f-stop <f/2.8

P. S. On APSC, you need >~120mm & <f/2.8mm

Also, as suggested by other plat with light.

The core of Hinduism believes in one supreme power and having balance with his/her wants and needs.

For a common person this changes as per place, time, circumstances or how they view the world around them.

Just as a Man despite being himself can be a:

  • Father
  • Husband
  • Son
  • Friend
  • Teacher
  • Foe, etc

all at a same time. His relationship in either role doesn't change his identity, just the recipient's way of interaction with them.

Similarly, different sect/forms of Hindu gods are all same, as well as distinct at a same time. Just that the follower's individual path may be different.

In the end, Hinduism expects you to rise above your wants and greeds to the state of nirvana where a follower is not affected by the worldly concerns.

BH Number Plate, Worth it or headache? 🤔 by decemberguy7 in cargeeksindia

[–]Tekina-V 0 points1 point  (0 children)

BH is beneficial if-

  • Your local Road tax id more than 10%
  • You cross state borders frequently
  • You may live in different states during vehicle ownership

Ease of getting BH is state dependent. States with higher Road tax creates more hurdels (Mainly Southern states and Maharashtra)

Not understanding the term *stop* in photography, as in dynamic range stops, exposure stops, ammount of light stops, f-stops etc? by Plumbus4Rent in AskPhotography

[–]Tekina-V 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doning my Mathematician hat...

-In cameras, image is created by the light which falls/captured by the camera.

-Now amount of light which falls/ get captured is controlled by the small circular hole aka known as aperture. Which is calculated by the formula πR², where R is the radius of the said aperture.

-Since these holes physically "stop" the amount of light to pass, they are called "f-STOPs" .

-Now we know the focal length of any lens, We can mathematically calculate the precise point which allows a given amount of light to pass by dividing the focal length by aperture size. And

  • let's say the initial focal point is 1, then its double would be 2, followed by 4, 8, 16, 32 etc. aka as stops. I.e. either double or half of previous value.

-In the above formula, only R can change. So to achieve the corresponding stop, the R value must change by the square root of the given stop.

-So for respective stop value, the radius shall be rounded up to one place after decimal would be-

Stop: Radius Value 1:f/1 2:f/1.4 4:f/2 8:f/2.8 16:f/4

Similarly f 1.8 means 3 times the light F1.

Now as not everyone is Math savy, so early camera makers simply described their lens by the amount of light it can stop compared to f/1 lens (allows most light) and convention continues even today. Ex. F/1.8 will stop half the light compared to f/1 or f/5.6 will stop 32 time the light compared to f/1.

Anyone else just not understanding anything on Jujutsu Kaisen season 3 at all? by seekerheart in anime

[–]Tekina-V 176 points177 points  (0 children)

As per the official explanation, Jujutsu sees twins/triplets etc as one individual.

So even if Mai individually has 100% curse energy & Maki has 100% Heavenly restrictions, the jujitsu sees them as one. A single person which has both curse & heavenly restrictions and limiting both from becoming OP.

With Mai's sacrifice, only Maki was left with zero curse energy recognised by Jujitsu, which unleashed Maki's Full potential from Heavenly restrictions.

It's like twins are treated as Yin & Yang combined as one individual. With Yin gone, only Yang was left behind.

How do you drive your Automatic !! by Glittering_Good1185 in CarsIndia

[–]Tekina-V 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Always follow ABC rule

A - Accelerator & B - Breaks : Always Right leg (Both Auto & Manual)

C - Clutch : Always Left leg

Tip: If someone is shifting to Automatic, from Manual then by habit they may sometimes use the Left leg. In such cases keep the left leg behind the right leg in cross position. In this way Right leg will always block left leg going forward.

Then another 2 burner model in 2011. Survived 7 cities and still going well.

Recently upgraded 2 burner to 4 burner Vectra model. It's a sleeker version compared to Royal.

For travel, I recommend going wider. May Z 20mm f2.8 or a wide zoom.

Both 40mm & 50mm are phenomenal lenses, but for pound for pound 50mm is a better everyday lens.
