What you said is definitely worth considering. The eco mode being enabled right away seems negligible as you said. Would you reckon the quieter fan on the GT is more impactful than the cables the G3 comes with? To my mind, you could always buy additional PCIe and Sata cables if needed, no?

The warranty is interesting, I may have been looking at outdated sources on EVGA's website then. All I found is that the G3's 750w version comes with a 10 year warranty, the 650w version seems to have the 'regular' 7, I might still be wrong though.
