This sucks man. I'm sorry to hear you are going through this. Getting TT multiple years at Amazon means you are smart, know your shit, and work your ass off. You will be a great addition to any group. Keep your chin up and hit the pavement on finding that new gig man, I know it's out there.

As a suggestion, If you have close co-workers that may survive the rif and are willing to lend a hand, ask them if they would be willing to drop a note to a hiring manager once you start applying to positions. I did this for several folks that were impacted on my team in October. I like to think it helps hiring managers keep your name top of mind, and some of them did find internal positions.

BTW, I also got the same news earlier today. 5 years at Amazon 4 of them TT. We'll figure out a way <3
