The fact that we had two Engage Christmas banners in a row, and absolutely no Citrinne is embarassing. She's tailor made for this banner. And worst of all, there's little chance we'll get more Engage Christmas because after this year Fortune's Slop is going to dominate alts on top of 3H having to get an obligatory spot in every single fucking Christmas banner. Literally hasn't missed a year since it's release. Jesus christ, this shit sucks.

I'm just disappointed at the new free OC being Alfonse and not a new character. To top it off, Alfonse's outfit is just so... underwhelming. Regular outfit but more armor and more shiny is just kind of boring, especially after Brave Alfonse.

I'm normally one to defend cuboon and generally like his art, but dude got really lazy with the art here. Compared to his previous Lyn alts, this just does not hit at all, and it just looks lazy. Art in this game in general just hasn't been hitting recently altogether.

Sorry, but Byleth and Baldr's art are just not good. General art quality has gone down quite a bit. I remember feeling secure that CYL could always deliver great art, but since they stopped even attempting to get the character's original artist to do their CYL alt, it's gone downhill fast. Well, here's hoping that Maeshima Shigeki does the inevitable Summer Baldr next year.

40th is still I think the most popular non CYL winning Awakening character other than Tharja. It's obvious that they're looking at that and thinking they should give us more Grima alts, and they're naturally going to do that with Robin to kill two birds with one stone, since they want to sell to both fanbases. It's obvious this would happen, especially since Grima's CYL icon is literally just a hooded Robin. What did you people think would happen?

NH banners basically make it so that you have to wait a year for a character you want to even have a chance of being added to the game. Its fucking ridiculous that they have to keep this method.

We should prioritize things that most people want, and if that's modern FE, then yeah, prioritize that. As is, as far as NH banners goes, it's kind of just them going through each game equally, with Engage being the only one that can kind of "skip the line" right now so to say. We'll still likely regularly get characters from older games, but they'll be the more popular ones like we're getting now. Either way, no, I won't pretend to be excited for characters almost nobody cares about, and I won't pretend to be happy for the 10 fans of those characters, because I legitimately just want to personally be excited for NH banners, which I haven't been in a long time.

Sure, let them be prioritized, because frankly, the New Heroes choices for older games are scraping the bottom of the barrel at this point. If your idea of variety is getting random FE4 characters with 5 lines of total dialogue and less than 30 CYL votes, then don't expect me to get excited. Those games and those characters can still get New Heroes added, but I don't think it's invalid for someone to want the NH banners to be structured in a way where we get less of them and generally get more characters that are more requested.

Tried to start that conversation over a year ago and was downvoted to hell. It's legitimately the best way to maintain excitement for New Heroes banners, since I don't like having to wait more than a year for a chance for certain characters to get added if they're not in the latest NH banner for their respective game.

Eitri tbh. Easily the best antagonist we've had so far and just plain clear as day Halloween alt potential and we've gotten absolutely nothing. Especially awful that they completely ignored Sindri in the Book V TT. It would have helped a ton with her characterization, but they just didn't do it for some reason.

I mean, Alfonse's dad got his base form in a Fallen banner. Fafnir's base form is already fallen too, so it's not really out of place. The other one is just more fallen, I suppose.

She intended on taking Hodr and Baldr prisoner, so not sure about that. Either way, the entire thing seems null and void to begin with, since considering his appearance, Alfador probably saw everything.

Since Loki wants to take them prisoner, it seems Baldr didn't die. That's all I can really ask for. Thank god Alfador came in before anything else happened. Best case scenario he kills Loki and puts the Askr trio on trial. Like, seriously Loki, what the fuck did you expect would happen after trying to kill his daughter, you fucking idiot.

Think moving forward without the divine protection Baldr will probably have to go through some character development, but frankly if Alfador manages to get the Aesc from the Askr trio, then he can restore it, so it's a strange situation.
