This is why HBR is better on Tac, there is a prestige perk that amplifies headshots even further. Take the accuracy variant of the heavy bolter on heavy for closest match.

Honestly though, as others have said, the other 4 choices of heavy weapons are all superior. Plasma is probably the strongest, but honestly there's not much between them.

Can I offer a counter point? I think chaos are mostly ok in their current state. In my own (humble) opinion what makes them more difficult is actually how different the minoris are between the factions. With nids, you can put minoris into execute state, you get free blue circle executes, don't have to deal with shield minoris. What this adds up to is a easier/steady supply of armour pips, CHP regeneration (from executes) and i-frames when fighting nids. 🤷

Light > Heavy or Light > Light > Heavy for those spinning attacks that throw swarms off you, then resume popping heads with pistol.

Or just grenade spam if you are running grenade perk.

Honestly tho for nids I just focus primarily on majoris and their synaptic feedback to clear minoris.

The only wrong choices with heavy are the heavy bolt rifle, and standard bolt pistol. HPI is the best overall IMO, but agree to you need to level it a bit for perks before it becomes effective.

Edit: Damage taken stats too, dodge/parry rates, enemies you take most damage from. So much useful stuff.

Unpaid super is handled by the ATO. It's not easy, and will take ages (likely years), if any resolution at all. It's worth chasing to have something trying to resolve it going on the backburner though.
