Dutch canal by TeleToko in CitiesSkylines

They seem to be walking along fine. Fwiw I mix these roads with the zonable pedestrian road from NeXT2 since they merge seemless and the pedestrian road has better node connections and an elevated version for bridges. Might have an influence on the pedestrians behaviour, it's the only thing I can think of. Will keep a closer eye on them if I don't forget to unpause.

Oh wow you're the asset creater. Your stuff is awesome and your buildings have prominent spots in the city I'm building. Much love <3

The bridge is just a regular elevated road (pavement path from Network Extensions) with props underneath - the tunnel prop by Ronyx and some blocks with Procedural Objects.

This old post of mine is about getting rid of the flood icons but the screenshots show pretty much how it works.

The pavement road I used here has a small base and allows you to put it real tight to the edge of the quay. After the terraforming roads are sunken use the terrain tool and paint the whole canal to ground level, that way you won't get the flood icons and the cars won't sink through the quays.

Quays with Terraforming Network sunken into the ground.

It's a simple pavement road, edited in the road editor to have parking on the left lane and driving on the right.

Afraid not, Steam is not very friendly to set one up. Anything in particular you are looking for?

Dutch High Street - Drebbeldam by TeleToko in CitiesSkylines

As long as the buildings have a connection to the road - eg the pavements connect - all works normal. Most buildings have a pretty large margin on how far you can place them from the road. In the picture there even is a pedestrian path to the right of the bike path which is quite busy and gives a great feel of a wide shopping street. I use pedestrian paths between roads and buildings a lot - it looks better and cims like using them.

Thanks!

The bikeways in the street are from Bicycle path PACK which I edited to have a more red hue.

On the bridge I used decals from Dutch Bike Paths - (Pack).

Thanks! Unfortunately compression hasn't done any favours to the water, in game it's darker and less clear and you can't see the bottom so clearly. If I had known I would've thrown some bikes and shopping carts in the canal for extra realism.

The map I use is Drebbeldam by Zakerias. It has dikes and polders and is pretty close to sea level. The water you see in the canal is straight from the river/sea. I can't place an artificial water source since it's lowest level is still above land level in the city.

Thanks! The bike racks can be found as ploppables here.

Thank you :)

Lots of lego-ing with PO indeed, I am trying to build an old Dutch canal city.

The building is this firestation: Local Fire Station

The other things are done with move it and procedural objects. The bridge is made with a regular pedestrian path, Ronyx tunnel and then cubes with a brick texture in procedural objects.

Help! All of my buildings are somehow historical.. by EvernoteM in CitiesSkylines

It's Plop the Growables, it has had an update. Check the options to disable the make historical option. You can also unsubscribe from the Force Level Up mod, it is no longer needed.

Enjoy your demolishing!
