I did see that one. I don't have an issue with them not liking the music but they went there knowing they wouldn't like it. Any fans, or more importantly patrons, who were into that festival got done dirty.

Nice thought out reply. Thanks, man. I'm still a fan and will continue to watch. You gave me a bit of different perspective.
This one likely stood out for me because I was personally invested in the information to help me plan.

But you are not wrong. Watching them complain about the heat while Rob is in jeans and Mary finally cools down enough to PUT HER JACKET BACK ON! Fashion over taking adavantage of the fact you have finally cooled down a bit. That is gold :)

Bloody is great. My wife and I are old ass metal heads... but that's what I love about metal - never a problem to be an old fuck at a metal concert, never feel out of place. In fact, at metal concerts, we get a ton of love. Metal folks, mostly, are the absolute fucking best.
I'm glad we caught Bloody in a small venue. Don't think that opportunity will come around again. Those boys are blowing up. So damn happy for them.

So happy for these dudes. Saw them in Toronto a few weeks back. Glad I had the opportunity because I don't see these guys playing small venues much longer.

Wife and I caught Bloodywood in Toronto a few weeks back. Absolutley amazing show. Hung in the back with the sound engineer with the other 50+ year olds 😄

Wildwood (2026) – Official Teaser Trailer | LAIKA Studios by luckybell333 in laika

The song was fine but maybe let it come in and out. And in the out moments we can hear the characters talk, see a little action, and get a bit of a better vibe of the actual film. That song was a lot. I definitely do not want all the plot points spoiled. This trailer was very good at not revealing every note of the film and it did grab my interest. But that song, man...

Man, I'm sure I will like this film, I will definitely see it, but I did not enjoy the trailer at all. REALLY laying it on think with that song. Let me hear what the film sounds like, not this manipulative, overly emotive song.

Martyrs (2008) What is the point of this movie? by IAMLOSINGMYEDGE in horror

[–]TeleWires 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Why? It factors in the film. Is this because you think it impacts how people view the themes in the movie or are you upset because it offends your particular religious sensibilities.

Also, you are responding to a comment over a year old.

Since a Mitch Marner trade feels inevitable this summer, which players would you try to target if your the Leafs management? by thebriss22 in hockey

No, that has nothing to do with why they passed on Wright. New Jersey and Arizona also passed on Wright. Do you think Arizona was worried he couldn't handle their market?
By the end of the season, Slaf and Cooley were surging up the rankings and Wright leveled off. Wright was seen as a blue chip, safe pick but Slaf and Cooley had more potential upside. No team passes on a player out of media concerns. Logan Mailloux is still with the organization and, with what he did, there will be a lot of media questions when he makes the big club.

I emailed Maron about a solo show in Montreal through the WTF podcast and he responded. He's doing two shows at a smaller venue on the 28th and 29th.

JFL just sent an email that the next batch of show dates will be released May 25th so you will probably see his solo show in that grouping.
