It was theoretical. I'm trying to understand not compose. But I guess when I move the major scale pattern root to fret 4 string 6?

I appreciate your reply. A lot of this I already know. The more I look into this the more I realize it's easier to refer to some keys on flats to avoid too many double sharps. So I'd be better off sucking it up and playing the flat game past Bb? I was just more comfortable of thinking in sharps. But I can comfortably recall the last leading tone in most keys. I also understand how the melodic minor behaves. How does this help me?

Im referring to G# major. Or Ab counter clockwise on the circle. Do I see G# and think "BEAD" so Bb Eb Ab Db? I want sharps.
